Love this product! You do need an oil or heavy moisturizer applied first as this product has the consistency of soft wax at first, but melts into your skin as you apply. It did feel a bit sticky while I had it on, but it absorbed pretty well after some time.My skin felt smooth for hours afterwards, has a lovely scent - very tropical. If you use this on your face, be prepared to experience some breakouts. Tan was achieved quickly, in less than an hour. I’m still giving it 5 stars because the only other thing I’ve found that tans you just as quickly was the BaliBody products. Everything else is subpar.

Large tub. It's like a Balm, and spreads better with your body heat. I am a fan of this product. Moisturizing and makes tan seem to last longer. No harsh scents.

I Did not blister my hole getting a beautiful golden tan. Going to buy more of this soon.

I don’t tan or burn easily in high altitude and i always peel. This product makes my skin feel really smooth so it doesn’t peel and gave me a nice tan, if you sunburn easy you should use this with spf as well.

100% Honest Review. The packaging for shipping was spot on. No complaints there. The tanning gel itself, meh just okay. It smells wonderful, before and after indoor or outdoor tanning. It is in balm form. I found if you use your hair dryer and heat it up a bit it’s easier to apply. It is EXTREMELY Greasy. It will leave marks on your clothing if you do not wait long enough for it to absorb into your skin. As far as seeing those dramatic dark results after tanning, Nope. Didn’t happen. I actually get better results from Hawaiian Tropic dark tanning lotions and oils. I will still use it. I will just mix it with other tanning lotion or oil to see what results I get that way. Again, it smells wonderful. But the Dark Tan Hype, No.

Okay so I used this in uv 4 and got sun poisoning..... which isnt a good thing but I sat in the sun for 5 hours no breaks so thats on me. I believe if I used it more safely it would have worked amazing. Once my sun poisoning went away I had darker skin than I've had in yearsssss!!

I rlly wanted that $40 carrot tanning gel but I didn’t wanna spend that much so I got this one. I was hesitant bc of all the comments saying it’s like wax but I figured out how to make it work. firstly I love this tanning gel. Made a HUGE diff with lower uv especially. It smells so good and moisturizes your skin. The cons are if you use it right away it is hard to apply and feels like wax. What I did was leave the container outside 10 min before I wanted to tan or so and that melts it making it a nice gel that applies really nice. Also if I was wet it applied rlly easy even when it wasn’t left out in the sun. I highly recommend this and using it this way.

Works as it states and it works quickly and I usually burn I did not with this.
