These bags are AMAZING. My husband and I went camping remotely last week and used a 5 gallon bucket and toilet lid from Amazon for our toilet. Inside our pop up privacy tent it felt just like home! They're very durable, you can feel how thick they are in your hand and the seam is on the inside so you don't have to worry about leaks. We ended up taking down our privacy tent because it's super cheap and the wind was blowing it all over the place, so we kept the sealed bags in our car (inside a Hefty garbage bag) and there was no odor the next morning and we threw them into the garbage when we got to a gas station. Granted it was in the 40s that night; I wouldn't try it in the middle of the summer. But regardless, they're very well made. I will say $14 for 15 bags is really expensive compared to the alternatives, but you can't argue with the quality. I love that they're compostable too, so if you have to use them on a backpacking trip they can be buried and decompose in just a few months. Super cool.

Bags fit good over and in a 5 gal bucket. Used several on a long primitive camping trip. They are strong and didn't leak. They tie up easily to secure inside bio product. Recommend when going on primitive camping/hiking trips.

We use these with a 5 gallon bucket, Luggable Loo seat and coconut coir. Works perfectly, no smell and we are both sensitive to odors. Put an inch or so of coir in the bottom of the bag, do your thing and then cover with some more coir. Tested from the mid 30's up to the mid 90's over 6 weeks in a self built campervan. Having the ability to pull over and quickly go or not get out during a rainy/ buggy night completely changed our camping experience. Bag lasts a maximum of 3 days using coir. Like a couple of reviews said, they are lightweight. That's because they are designed to be biodegradable. You take the bucket with you to the trash dumpster and dump it, don't try lifting the bag out of the bucket. After 3 days they will leak as they are beginning to degrade.

Great for campers too! We used ours when traveling with our grandkids. When we don't have water in the camper tank and driving down the road with potty training kids, it was easy to pull off the road and let our grandkids use the toilet!

These bags appear to be sturdy but the first time I set up the porta potty I placed this bag inside of another bag and was I ever glad I did. There was quite a bit of leakage into the other bag. It’s possible that the first bag on the roll might have been damaged but I haven’t been brave enough to try using it alone. I was not using this outside. It was for nighttime use in an older home without plumbing on the second floor.

I purchased these to use with our luggable-loo during a week long camping/ fishing trip with my husband out in rural Ontario. Although some previous reviews about the durability of the bags had me feeling cautious, I really needed something that was biodegradable - as hauling our waste out was never really a suitable option for us with an hour boat ride and 30 minute drive back to civilization. All in all I have been pleasantly impressed with the durability of the bags! Both my husband and I are "big" people and we changed the bag out every 2 -2.5 days with no leaks! Although we also used eco-gel porta-potty chemicals after doing our business to help any liquids solidify. I think the biggest thing in avoiding leaks is making sure you use them with-in a year of manufacturing like they recommend upon purchase. These are a plant based product and will start to break down overtime - hence the "biodegradable" aspect. Really grateful to have these for this trip and will be looking to purchase more in the future for our next annual trip.

The strength of the bags was very poor, the bag tore while removing from the roll.

These are the best waste bags I have found for my portable camping toilet. Unlike others which are flimsy and tear easily, these are strong, thick and do not tear or leak! They are great quality, watertight. Even when filled and heavy, they hold well and do not split or leak. They have a lovely rubbery feel rather than plasticky. They come in a handy roll, easy to carry and each bag tears off easily. They are a good size and fit. They are 100% biodegradable and compostable, which is great for the environment and handy if there is nowhere to dispose of. They are versatile and I keep some in my car incase of car sickness. They are great value for money and a must have.
