Very good for a fairly new runner duck owner

It is a good book but didn't cover what we wanted to know, so it wasn't the bargain we thought it was.

Good book, ideal for people thinking of having Runner Ducks, good information.

Very enthusiastically written, but doesn't tell you what you need to know. E.g. say that you want to know how/when/how often these creatures lay eggs. Look up 'eggs' in the index. There is one entry - for a disease. Nothing about how to get eggs out of the beasties. Text slightly rambles from topic to topic and then back again. Could do with a severe edit and restructuring. There's definitely a half decent book lurking in their somewhere.

As a person who has worked with livestock including poultry my entire woring life, I find the book a little un-professional , a far better book which has a fair bit on runner ducks is the Storey guide on raising ducks. I have a problem with keeping livestock as pets, perhaps the author might consider a cat or dog as a companion animal instead.

A text that includes all the essential information to be able to deal with the breeding of Indian runner ducks. Comprehensive regarding the information a beginner must know. A few color photographs would make it more valuable

good read I learned about this awesome breed and really enjoyed the book. I have these ducks and this book is helpful

Great book with a lot of very specific tips. It's been the most useful book for Runners I've flung thus far. Having it on the kindle was great for highlighting and finding information quick while at the store.

This is a must book for anyone interested in or raising runner ducks!
