Great product! Just a bit over priced IMO
I have tried many things for my medicinal herbs. Coffee grinders hand grinders ones with handle/without handle. This is by far the easiest so far! The medium screen works perfectly. The fact that it is rechargeable is a big plus!My only complaint so far is that the bottom doesn’t come off easily enough.. I see myself with herb flying everywhere. Maybe it loosens with use. Will see.Easy to clean, no crevices for pieces to get lodged into.

This thing is an absolute TANK!
My father has been on the hunt for a good electric grinder that not only makes consistent end product but can also handle the stickiest of sticky buds without getting gummed up and difficult to move. I’m very pleased to say this K5 grinder by Kactus Krusher checks off all those boxes and many many more!Function:The grinder uses a milling plate on top that grips the bud and forces it through a die plate that comes in various hole sizes for your preferred grind level. This method eliminates the need for interlocking teeth you see in a traditional grinder, which is the major fail point in those designs. The device flips open where the two plates meet with a latch and hinge, and this is where you load the product to be processed. The kit includes a brush to clean off the hole plate, and he used a small paper towel with a dot of rubbing alcohol to wipe down the upper mill plate and never had and build up.Electric Motor:Dealing with arthritis and mobility issues, gripping a grinder hard enough to power through today’s potent and dense buds has become quite the task for my father. This started the hunt for an electric grinders, but up until now they all fell short in the power market. If you didn’t pre-grind the buds, or put more then a 0.1 in the chamber, the motor would seize up and buzz. He tried one with the chain-ball blades but that just knocked the bud around the camber and left huge chunks when it was done. The K5 has an interesting milling setup that spins the motor and powers the upper milling plate, and you press down the plunger to engage the flower and force it through the lower die plates. THIS WAS HUGE!! Sure it did require some force, but the user just needs to push down with minimal weight and required no grip strength to get a consistent end product. We tried some 35% sticky almost tar consistency bud and it has no issues breaking it down on the medium size plate. The amount of force required to press down the plunger is negligible at best, and can often be done with one finger or your thumb if it’s very dense.Collection:After grinding the flower drops into the bottom collection bin that is magnetically attached to the upper portions. There is an LED that turns on when grinding is in motion you can see through the plastic, but it’s too dark to see anything inside and it’s really more of a gimmick. The added LED also means you have to pay attention when putting the collection tray back on since only two corners have magnets and the third is cut out for the LED. Finally following in suit to other grinders, there is a bottom compartment for the crystals to fall into which is cool to have - but in my experience I just scoop it up and top a bowl every not and then and wouldn’t be mad if it wasn’t there… I would just put the crystals in with each run rather then bank them over several to have a larger amount.Value:This grinder runs around $100 in most cases, and can be had on sale often. When you compare it to a $15 novelty store grinder it seems like a waste - but when you compare it to nicer electric grinders it’s actually on the lower side. Sure there are some electrics at half its price, but after wasting money on 4x different inferior electric grinders we found this is the only one he actually uses. I’ve seen other manual grinders with the similar milling method used, just without the electric motor, that run around $100+ right next to other high end/botique traditional teeth style manual grinders… so in comparison it’s not too bad at all.Over view:In the end having the advanced milling style grinder that was easy to clean, easy to use, and didn’t require grip strength all paired together to make this K5 grinder one of the nicest, most innovative, and easy to use design that made it well worth its cost - even without the discounts! If you are having issues with difficulty using grinders due to hand strength, or sick of dealing with gummed up parts and don’t move right, this grinder is right up your alley! Just note - it’s on the larger side and really intended for home use and not something you will toss in your pocket and go but if you know that then this grinder is an A+++ buy!

Best for 420 Grinds & Finding Seed
needs cleaning aftr 2-3Cups sticky nuggs. But so do my fingers, w/ or w/o gloves. Medium blade perfect 4 seed. If this device holds up to my use for at least a year, it’ll be well worth the $, & id buy this again!! Great job, Kactus!! Couple pics showing seed in partially ground flower, pic of med blade in need of a cleaning. After using knife (plastic or metal) to remove the resins/flower bulk, drop into wide mouth mason jar loaded w/92% isopropyl plus epsoms salts, shake a bit, remove, wipe down & reassemble. Seed were from fem’d varieties, stressed over outdoor-in-ground-grow, produced few herm’d seed (also fem’d), and ive resupplied self w/genetics. Seriously, tho, this device bsttery has endurance, charges wuik

Great Grinder with One Minor Flaw
The K5 Grinder is excellent—probably the best grinder I’ve ever used. It grinds smoothly and consistently, and the build quality feels solid and reliable. The only issue I’ve noticed is that the kief catcher screen assembly can get stuck. It’s a small inconvenience, but it doesn’t take away from how well the grinder performs overall. I would love to see a removable two-piece assembly.Even with this minor flaw, I’d still give it five stars. It’s a great product that I’d recommend to anyone.

Best grinder or mill ever!
Overs a great milled experience. Perfectly ground and keeps stems out of fresh material. Highly recommend for those with hand strength issues. Wife lives in. Well built and solid. Also quiet and easy to clean. Mills up to 5 grams or more depending.

Great grinder, well worth the money.
The grinder is fast, efficient, and does a terrific job of grinding. A real life-saver, if you have carpal tunnel syndrome, like me. It has a rechargeable battery, but after 3 months use, I still haven't needed to recharge it yet, since it seems to run forever on a charge. Tt's a 5 star item, but I took one star off for getting what seems to be a returned unit.I love the grinder, but have a couple of minor quibbles. The outside is smooth, powder-coated metal, and is a little hard to grip, especially for older hands. It would benefit from some gripping surfaces strategically placed around the body. Also, the unit I received from Amazon looked like it had been opened and repacked, like it was a returned unit. The Kactus Kutter site sells them for the same price, but I opted for buying from Amazon because of the faster delivery. After getting a repacked unit, I question that wisdom.
