But if you have a bad battery, at -40C, it could flatten your battery below needed cranking amps after a month or 2, depending upon your Amp Hr battery size, age, condition, etc. or it could go for more than year before it flattens a large good battery. So run your car more than once a year, once a month in the winter. Love the fact that it looks after stray voltages, battery shorts, EMP, CME, lightning strikes, ground faults, while directly connected to the computer. Best car computer protection you can get, even if you don't worry about EMP/CME stuff.

This idea is outstanding. I bought 3, one for each car. Note it has a small LED green light to let you know its on duty. At night when very dark its nice to get into the car with too.
