Geedel Rotary Cheese Grater Hand Crank, Cheese Shredder Vegetable Slicer

I love kitchen gadgets and I hate slicing and dicing. When this arrived, its lightweight plastic parts and super simple assembly had me doubtful about its efficacy. But, boy oh boy! This gadget is my new favorite item ever. It slices and dices with ease - even super hard foods like carrots. It’s got 3 different blades so you can get what ever you like from grated cheese to potato slices. What surprised me most was how easy it is to clean. It comes apart as easily as it goes together and every part is washable. Plus, it’s attractive and takes up very little space. I actually purposely cook foods I can use it for because I enjoy using it so much! And, the price was very very reasonable.

This grater is so easy to use and doesn't hurt my arthritic hand. Grating cheese is no longer a chore, even when doing a whole wedge of parmesan. My hand used to cramp up when using my Zyliss and box graters. (The Zyliss does produce a finer shred, if that's important to you.) Also, I love how it suctions to the kitchen counter, so it doesn't move around, and it's easy to clean. I haven't tried it on anything but cheese, but expect that it will perform just as well on veggies. Very happy with this purchase.

This cheese grater has been helpful. I try not to buy pre shredded cheese because it doesn't melt like block cheese. Buying a large block allows me to shred it up and portion it out into smaller bags to pop in the frig and freezer. This grater suctions to your counter so you don't have to worry about it slipping or moving around while you are turning the handle. It's easy to assemble and dishwasher safe on the top rack. The only issue that I've had is that my cheese keeps getting stuck in the round part and not coming out. I've tried it with warm and cold cheese and I'm getting the same results. I've also used this to grate several carrots for a cake and it worked out nicely. Much better than the traditional box grater. This product seems durable and well made. I like that there are different blade options to choose from.

I always used my Cuisinart to grate cheese but stopped because of the effort it took to get it set up. Then cleaning the discs was always a chore. This grater works great! It's fairly intuitive setting it up. The suction is strong enough to keep it on the counter while in use. The crank is a little finicky, but in the end I figured out how to attach it and have it not fall off. The grating goes quickly and BOOM grated cheese! The grater is well worth the $22 that I spent when I ordered this. It comes in a variety of colors - something for everyone!

The hand crank greater is excellent. Does more then grate cheese, I use it to make coleslaw salad and the texture was perfect. Easy to use, clean and put away and not adding another item to my counter. I grated ice cubes to make snow cones for my granddaughter. She loved it and was able to turn the handle to make another cone for her sister. Very pleased with the quality and good value.

Love this! I only buy block cheeses and use a lot of fresh cheese daily in my cooking. This has saved my hands & wrists. Turning the handle is so much easier then using a manual hand grater. Took me less than 5 mins to shred 5lbs of cheese!! Came with 2 different sizes for shredded cheese and also a slice blade for thin slices of cheese. Can be used for potatoes, butter (shred your butter for the flakiest pie crust ever) veggies or anything else you want in shredded pieces or sliced super thin for chips. All pieces can be washed in the dishwasher. Its easy to assemble and take apart, the pieces lock into place and just a quick slide of the button will unlock to disassemble. *only complaint is the suction thing to keep it stable on the counter does not work very well. Not a huge issue, still functions properly.

Absolutely love this grater. So easy to use and clean. A large zip lock bag of fresh grated cheese in just minutes. Perfectly slices potatoes for scalloped or au gratin potatoes and also potato chips cooked in an air fryer.

Probably my most favorite, reasonably priced item I've ever bought for my kitchen. Can't say enough good stuff. Great with veggies, cheese, meat (ham), onions, garlic and so much more. Easy to use, clean, and store away. Much more sturdy than I had anticipated. Has not dissapointed.

Wir haben unserer Reibe im April 2021 gekauft. Es ist an der Zeit auch mal eine Bewertung abzugeben. Ich kann nur sagen, wir lieben dieses Küchengerät. Ich habe mir allerdings, eben auch ein paar Bewertungen hier angeschaut und möchte auf unsere Nutzung mal eingehen. 1. es ist super simpel zusammen und auseinander zu bauen 2. vielseitig einsetzbar 3. wir nutzen es allerdings nicht täglich/wöchentlich 4. bevor wir zum Reiben von Möhren, Zucchini und Kartoffeln unsere elektrische Küchenmaschine aus dem Schrank holen, ist die manuelle Reibe schneller am Start bei uns 5. unser Musst-have zum schneiden der rohen Bratkartoffeln 6. scharfe Schneidekanten? nein die findet man an dem Gerät nicht. Das Gerät macht trotzdem seine Arbeit. 7. ja, ich habe auch schon gehabt, das die Schale von Gurke oder Apfel oben "übrig" blieb. Einen Apfel würde ich daher schälen und die wenigen Schalenteile der Gurke, die übrig waren, haben mich nicht gestört. Das selbe passiert auch bei Zucchini. Finde ich das schlimm? - nein. Ich sammle es einfach oben aus dem Füllstutzen raus. 8. weiche Sachen wie Tomaten oder labrige Möhren funktionieren nicht. Aber hey, die funktionieren auch nicht bei der Standreibe. Hier darüber in den Bewertungen zu "meckern", passt eigentlich nicht. Wir reden ja immer noch von einer manuellen Reibe und von keiner elektrischen, welche vermutlich auch weiche Sachen verarbeiten kann. 9. Ja, bei mir funktioniert der Saugnapf auch nicht wie er soll. Aber ich bekomme meine Produkte trotzdem gerieben. 10. Bei mir ist in den Jahren weder was angebrochen noch zerbrochen. 11. Käse, Parmesan habe ich auch schon gerieben. Es ging, aber ja es war auch gröber als gekauft. Gouda und Co. hat ebenfalls geklappt. Wir reden hier von einem manuellen Küchenhobel. Er macht was er soll. Er erleichtert mir durch die Kurbel die Arbeit, im Vergleich zu einem klassischen Standhobel. Man darf ihn in keinsterweise mit einem elektrischen Küchengerät vergleichen. Wer täglich/wöchentlich den Hobel benötigt, ich glaube, der ist tatsächlich mit einer elektrischen Küchenmaschine, die dann vermutlich eh die ganze Zeit draußen steht, so wie bei meiner Schwester, besser beraten. Meine Schwester würde sich niemals so eine manuelle Hobelmaschine kaufen. Sie benutzt fast täglich ihre elektrische für genau diese Sachen, wo hier in den Bewertungen gemeckert wird, das der manuelle Hobel sie nicht kann. (Möhren, Wurst, Äpfel mit Schale usw.) Für unsere ab und zu-Zwecke ist sie völlig ausreichend, wir möchten sie nicht mehr hergeben. Es macht daher definitiv Sinn vorher zu überlegen wie häufig man sie benötigen würde, ob sie für die eigenen Zwecke ausreicht, oder ob man sich über den Kauf ärgern würde und mit einem elektrischen Küchengerät besser dran wäre.
