Super duper sticky
I used this to repair the SMC hull of a Polaris PWC after some underwater object routered a groove down my keel. Some 3M structural adhesive was recommended by Polaris for the repair but the cost is equal to its weight in gold and generally not available to consumers. I did a lot of digging around for an alternative and came across Thixo and it was perfect for the job. It was very easy to spread on the underside of the hull without any sagging or dripping and had plenty of working time. After 24 hours I could sand and fill in any spots I missed. When compared to the 3M product, Thixo is definitely a lot more bang for your buck. When dealing with the hull of a PWC I figured the thicker the better and wasn't planning on painting so I left the last application unsanded.

Quality fix for fiberglass
A little pricey but absolutely worth it. It’s super easy to use and fits a standard caulk gun. They also include two nozzles so if you don’t use it all the first time you can seal it and use it again later which is appreciated especially with the price. Product dried in the time stated on the tube and is easily sand able after you use it.

Great results
Used product 382660 to repair a major crack/ hole in my seadoo gtx. After proper grinding and feathering repair area I applied product not exceeding recommended 1/2” thickness and let cure. Within 24 hours it was rock hard and prepared area for second coat. This time adding a layer of carbon fiber wetting it out with thixo and shaping as needed. Let second application cure for 48 hours then doing the final sanding and shaping. Couldn’t be happier with the final results. I should mention I took a chance on this product over traditional resins because of the claim that it would adhere to damp surfaces. The styrofoam in the hull still had moisture trapped inside and this stuff cured no problem. Thank you thixo! Easy to apply. Didn’t drop or sag. Floats out and shapes like a dream. Wets chop strand or weave as well or better than traditional resins in my opinion. Sanding and shaping was a breeze. Used in temperatures between 55 and 65 degrees.

warning! Half as much product as a regular tube of caulk
Now that I know how these two part tubes work it's obvious but I purchased one tube thinking I would have as much product as a standard caulk tube, but you only get half a tube since it's two part. This little but consequential detail should be prominently displayed on the tube or in the listing. Now I have to wait another 4 days to finish the time sensitive project I needed it for since one tube was not enough because I didn't know the tube is only half full of product due to the plunger mechanism needed for epoxy.Other than that the product should do what I need it for where the alternative would have been difficult at best, probably impossible. It is very expensive though.

Good stuff, Easy to work with!
This is great stuff! Nice and thick, mixed well, way better than other gel coat repair products I’ve used, albeit a bit pricey. Sands well. I did not paint as this was for cracks inside a Hyde drift boat, and I didn’t care too much about the appearance. It dries pretty clear, and had a very long work time, 1hr+.
