AltraMen's Olympus 5 Sneaker

I used these on Scarfel Pike this weekend and I couldn’t more impressed! Excellent grip, comfort and cushioning.Performed better than my hiking boots, I didn’t get any blisters or rubbing and I used them fresh out the box for a 17km hike up the mountain.I did go a half size up to account for swelling and hiking socks which turned out to be the correct thing to do.I have always struggled with footwear as I have very wide feet, these have been the only shoe to live up to the stated features.

Zero drop, so need to condition for them, and great wide toe box. Unfortunately slight heel lift, so need to heel lock the lacing

Very comfortable shoes, they keep my feet very hot and sweaty despite the "breathable" material. They are true to size

A great improvement on the Altra Olympus 4. Stronger and more robust construction. I use these for long distance hiking and they work great for me. I did get some better Superfeet insoles as the ones they come with are kind of thin. Overall a great hiking shoe. I did go up half a size as suggested by other reviewers and they fit well.

These are my go-to shoes for walking on or off road. Incredibly comfortable, like walking on a cloud.

I’ve only had the show a couple of weeks but so far they are amazing. Fit great and for a guy with wide feet it’s hard to find a good shoe that fits well. I just hope they last.
