What a handy, pocket sized little gem of a book this is. I own a few Northumberland walking books, but this now takes pride of place in the pocket of my rucksack.Crammed full of walks and not all following the usual paths in the usual areas.I have just completed the Black Middens and Reivers Trail with my 6 year old, learning all about the likes of Reivers,"Corbett Jack" and "Barty Milburn" along the way!Colour photos and maps on each page plus well written and easy to follow guides make this the book I'll be following in the footsteps of for a while yet.

Ordered as a Christmas present for son, very well received and he has already completed some of the walks.

It was a good guide book for our trip for about a week in Northumberland.Simple and to the point descriptions and highlighted some enjoyable locations
