Extreme Fishing With Robson Greene [DVD]

I bought this DVD for my husband who is a very keen fisherman. He has never managed to watch the programme on TV and not being keen on it I never reminded him when it was on. Having said that I have now watched some of the episodes and it is really entertaining. Robson Green makes the show so if you like the cheeky Geordie you will like this whether interested in fishing or not

I'm not interested in fishing, although I often joined my dad for a strong brew of tea on the lake shore when he was spending a day on the lake. Surprisingly, myself and my 13 year old became 'hooked' on the 2009 series on TV. I then ordered this DVD for my Dad. Being a keen fly fisherman I didn't know if he would be taken with the Extreme variety, but with the entertaining Robson Green, the wonderful locations and scenery and the exhileration of the catch and disappointment of the one that got away, it proved a real winner of a present. I would recommend this DVD for it's sheer entertainment value.

As a beginner to Angling I found this really inspiring and entertaining with it. This first series is never less than interesting and it takes you to some exotic locations while never losing its sense of fun. Robson Green provides some good laughs, although it sometimes seems a little forced. Nevertheless, this is marvellous stuff and well worth watching.

AN EXTREMELY ENTERTAINING DVD , I WAS NOT INTENDING TO WATCH THIS AS IT WAS A GIFT BUT FOUND IT VERY AMUSING AND INTERESTING AND ROBSON GREEN'S NATURAL PRESENTATION AND ENTHUSIASUM INFECTIOUS. BY THE WAY , I HAVE NO INTEREST IN FISHING WHAT SO EVER NORMALLY !!!!

I've never been into fishing Even when i was a teenager there were many occasions when i was invited to go with a friend but i always declined.....just didnt interest me one bit.Therefore it comes as a surprise that im sending in my first ever recommendation on amazon. Robson Green is excellent as he guides you through his journey to beautiful and exotic locations. The scenery is truly breathe taking and some of the cathes are truly mind boggling!!... Sit back relax and enjoy.

I wanted it for a christmas present but couln't send it. I kept it myself, love extreme fishing.. Please be wary of this when ordering the dvd for a gift.

Robson's enthusiasm for the subject is infactious.

Bought this DVD along with Series 2  Extreme Fishing with Robson Green - Series 2 [DVD] [2009 ] for my children to give to my Dad for his birthday - it was a great success. We haven't watched it yet, but Grandad says he loves it!
