How is the is spiral slicer different from the vertical cook help? Thank you!

Dear Julia, I don't have a vertical spiralizer. This one works very well and I can choose three different blades to realize incredible vegan spaghetti :-)

I just rec'd a Benriner slicer & it only has 2 black rubber stopper on the bottom of the slicer. Is this normal or am I missing 2 of the stoppers?

Normal. Mine came that way too (there's likely a logical explanation as to why they're only on two, but I'm not entirely certain). If you look really close at the enlarged photo in Amazon you can see the back feet (nearest the cutter surface) have the black rubber stoppers. The two front feet don't.

Is the green part in the picture placstic as well? Why did you choose this one over the Paderno?

I have had over 20 years experience with this product and have never had a negative thing about it. I have never heard of one breaking and I have not used or heard of the Paderno product that does what the Benriner does. I have a Paderno truffle plain which is great but I would not choose any other turner slicer than Benriner.

What size (approximately) are the blades? I see it comes with four blades. A similar model has 1/8" and 1/4" blades, as well as a flat blade.

Hi Michelle, the Benriner Turning Slicer comes with a smooth blade and a fine, medium and course blade - they are all approximately 1/4".
