Best cargo pants ever
These are the best pants for the security job I have. They are comfortable good for winter and summer in Las Vegas bc they are lightweight. I have worn the pair I have now for a few years and the zipper has no issues. They fit to size and they are versatile be of the acute changes in weather here

Comfortable, Flexible, and Well-Made Pants
I really enjoy these pants โ theyโre comfortable, flexible, and exactly what I needed for everyday use. The material has just the right amount of stretch, making them easy to move in regardless of what youโre doing. After several washes, the black color has stayed rich and hasnโt faded at all, which I really appreciate. The double button and sturdy zipper closure feel solid and reliable โ no worries about them coming undone. The fit is good overall, and theyโre comfortable enough that Iโve ended up ordering multiple pairs and other pants from CQR because theyโve held up so well. The pockets work great. The front thigh pocket fits my phone in a heavy-duty case, but itโs a snug fit โ so donโt expect it to hold a full-size magazine if thatโs your intent. I like these pants enough that I hope CQR eventually makes a shirt of equally good quality to go with them โ Iโd buy that too.

Buy it nice or buy it twice
I work outside frequently, I bought one of these pants a couple years ago that still lasted me to today, meanwhile I got several jeans and even other utility pants to go alongside them, each one however kept ripping pretty easily, or didn't keep their elasticity. Finally after nearly $200 in the last two years of just buying pants, and the only survivor being from these guys. I bought two more sets, quality of the pants somehow got better. They suddenly have a lot more room that I can probably do the splits and only worry about my giblets hurting. They are water resistant to a degree, the color is true to the pictures. Utility pockets and mag pockets of varying sizes makes it easy to carry stuff, but that is it's only drawback so far. Too much of a stretch one way can rip the utility pocket. Other than that, they hold true to the classic saying of "Buy it nice or buy it twice"

They are running smaller, skinnier, and tighter. Not as relaxed as I would like.
They have been shrunken. They are running smaller and tighter than the previous half dozen I own. The material seems to have mjch less stretch and i fear they will rip like the set they were purchased to replace. Also, they are tight in the calf so skip leg day. Most of the pants fit well and the new ones seem to have improved velcro. I have been mostly happy with the CQR items.

All around favorite pair of pants I've owned!
These by far are the best pants I've ever owned. I primarily use them as pants that I wear when I'm working around the property, when I'm doing some construction work or when I'm working on my vehicle. They're super tough made out of great material. Last week one of my 3 pairs saved my leg from a potential chainsaw incident. Had it not been for these pants to slowdown the impact of the saw, my injuries would have been way worse than they were. My absolute favorite feature about these pants is what I consider the phone pocket. It keeps my phone super easy to reach and put away, it keeps it out of my other pockets which may have other items that could either scratch my screen, or make that pocket way too bulky. For size reference, I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 and it fits perfectly in the pocket leaving just enough sticking out to easily grab the phone. The cargo pockets are super handy for a place to put some gloves when I'm not wearing them, or some misc tools I need to stash real quick. The right cargo pocket also has a slit in the top that is a great place to put my EDC pocket knife where it's not in the way but easy to get to. I'm definitely going to be getting some more of these in the future.

HUGE LET DOWN
I bought these on Nov 9th 2025. About a week ago, end of feb 2026, the left main pocket ripped due to the mesh material. I will say these pants do fit almost true to size and I love them except for the pockets. I wanted to wait to review these after I had worn them a few months. I work at an auto shop, which the waterproof and rip resistant material really makes a diffrence. However, it was and has been a MAJOR let down and inconvenience, that the pocket ripped, and the worst part about it, I usually keep only my phone in this pocket if that. I noticed other reviews stating the same thing about the pockets ripping. I did catch these at a minor discount, I think they were like $43, when i did purchase them, but if the pockets aren't changed then these DEFINITELY ARE NOT WORTH $50. Maybe $30, as I havn't even owned these pants for 4 months and they already ripped, and I sure as hell will NEVER pay $50 for them. Also while the belt straps are wider and good for belts, if you use any type of clip or carabiner for keys or other things, unles its huge which mine isnt, its extremely hard tp clip anything to them. The company should invest in something to correct this.
