Got this with my purchase of a Quest 3 as a means to connect headset to PC for desktop and Steam VR. Although it worked fine I’ve since discovered that Wi-Fi and the virtual desktop software app works better ( for me ) and means I am not tied to the computer by a cable. On the plus side being 5 metres long it does offer quite a bit of freedom

Someone claimed I believe that this charges the quest whilst in use.. not really, not whilst using it as pass through from the PC, but I guess that could be USB limits from the computer.The cable however is long, thick and of very good quality. It would be a shame to mark it down for the charging thing when I was already pretty certain it wouldn't charge.Data rates were fine, I was playing half-life Alyx via my 4090 totally smooth no choppy playback ever, and no signal drop or anything.I Recommend this cable for a meta quest 2.

Works perfectly for our Meta Quest 2 and massively cheaper than the ridiculously priced official cable

Very happy. Good length, and clean design, white ( rather than black) matches the Oculus 2 colour, fits well as a quality cable and is used to link Oculus to keyboards. Also used to charge Oculus instead of the cable provided. Would recommend

For the low price this is selling at (relative to the official Quest Link cable), this works incredibly well, giving a nice steady connection with no dropouts in my experience. I've tested using the official Meta/Oculus software and it's reporting that the cable meets their connection speed standards, so as long as your PC's ports are equipped to handle the speeds, the cable will as well.The quality feels great, using a nice soft coating and solid, sturdy connectors which should hold up to plenty of use. The only downside is that this cable is a fair bit stiffer than the official Quest Link cable which instead uses fibre-optic cable. It's not a huge issue, especially if you're just playing seated VR, but if you're up and about it might be a little irritating after a while.

If you have a VR Headset like a Quest 2/3 then having a good link cable for PCVR is a key piece of equipment, and having 5 meters gives you plenty of freedom to move around, hence I was keen to check this outFirst impressions are pretty good, cable comes coiled up with a Velcro fastener, and seems well constructed. Both ends are USB Type C, and there is a Type C to A adapter included. The cable says it is certified for 10Gbps, meaning it would be a Type 3.2.Performance wise, the cable makes a firm attachment to the Quest USB port, meaning it is not going to fall out easily. It made the data connection to Oculus link with no issue.Running the USB Test results in a bandwidth reading of 2.6Gbps and a second of 2.3. My PC only supports USB 3.0 so this is around what I'd expect, and mirrors another cable I have, so no problems there with transmission speed.The downside to this cable however is that its quite stiff and wants to coil up, which is not what you want trailing around getting under your feet. I have a different braided cabled of the same length that simply lays flat on the ground, which is ideal for VR, so this is not as good as that.Overall for £19 although this is functional as a data cable, its not really ideal for PCVR, as its too stiff, and equally its more expensive than a better braided 5m Stealth cable you can get for 60% of the price. So I would not recommend this

Lo primero que noté es que el cable viene bien empaquetado, en una bolsa con cierre de presión, lo cual es conveniente para su almacenamiento y transporte.El cable en sí es de 5 metros de largo, lo cual es ideal para tener libertad de movimiento durante las sesiones de VR. Está recubierto de silicona, lo que lo hace muy flexible y evita esos molestos enredos que suelen ocurrir con cables más rígidos. Esto es especialmente útil cuando estás inmerso en un juego de realidad virtual, ya que no tienes que estar luchando constantemente contra el cable.La protección reforzada en los puntos de conexión es un buen detalle. La protección naranja en los extremos evita que el cable se agriete y el diseño en forma de L del conector Tipo-C asegura que la conexión se mantenga estable, incluso durante movimientos bruscos.En cuanto al rendimiento, no he tenido problemas. La transferencia de datos es rápida y estable, lo cual es crucial para una experiencia de VR inmersiva. He probado el cable con varios juegos y aplicaciones, y la calidad visual y la respuesta han sido excelentes. Aunque el fabricante menciona que no es ideal para cargar el dispositivo mientras se usa, para mí esto no ha sido un gran inconveniente ya que suelo tener sesiones de juego de duración moderada.Se agradece el detalle de incluir un adaptador de USB C a USB 2.Me gusta el color blanco y naranja. En un cuarto que quizás no siempre es el más ordenado, hace más sencillo el saber donde se encuentra frente a si fuera negro como tantos otros cables.En resumen, el cable de enlace TRANSNOVO es una opción sólida y funcional para quienes buscan una conexión fiable para sus gafas de VR. Su flexibilidad, longitud y diseño robusto lo hacen una herramienta valiosa tanto para el uso en realidad virtual como para otras aplicaciones. Sin duda, lo recomendaría.
