BiMi Deluxe Office chair refurbishment kit

The wheels and supports snapped off my really conformable gaming chair. This little kit bolted on and gave it a new lease of life.Really easy to put together, and months later still very sturdy.The chair was a gift and to save it from the skip was brilliant.It's had plenty of use and the gas spring hasn't leaked or dropped like a lot of these things seem to do these days. Would definitely recommend.

My chair mechanism gas strut had broken, but the leather chair was fine not worn. Found this refurbishment. It arrived next day, amazing. Easy to put together and the fittings were exactly the same so able just to put together and replace. 10 mins tops. Brilliant and a huge saving. Good high quality mechanism that seems the same as the original which I bought from Staples a few years ago.

The wheels and gas strut failed on my 15 year old chair so I decided to buy this refurb kit because my chair is comfy and good for my back. In my kit I realised after assembly that the mechanism plate had a manufacturing fault which made it tilt awkwardly. I was sent a replacement plate next day but it was quite a bit of hassle to remove the faulty plate because it was stuck to the gas strut (an angle grinder was involved!).Despite the hassle (these things happen) I'm very happy with the kit and service from the seller. I would give it five stars but I don't like the wheels because they don't glide very well over thick carpet.

Arrived earlier than expected. Easy to assemble. Its a bit higher than the one I replaced but luckily I have a foot rest. Very sturdy unit. Pleased with this as my chair is very comfortable just the plastic foot broke. Definitely recommend.

No assembly instructions. Which for me was fine it's not my first rodeo however for others, and they know who they are, not so good.

A plastic spoke on my decent old chair had broken - and all repair attempts failed (melting & araldite). Had assumed whole chair was destined for the skip and was scanning for a cheap and nasty replacement and saw this pop up - I'd no idea chair parts were 'standard'.Was originally just going to buy the base, but after a bit of malleting, realized the old gas cylinder wasn't going to budge, and this was only a bit more.Anyway, couple of days for delivery, few minutes with an allen key, and my beloved chair is better than it ever was before. I can only describe my feeling as 'pretty chuffed'.Description was somewhat lacking in details, so if it matters to you:Cylinder is 9", giving total length with piston of between 11 and 15.5" (if you want to compare it to what you have).Another concern I had was that the distance between a couple of the screws on my chair was nearly 16cm, whilst the standard seems to be 15cm. Was absolutely fine as the holes in the base-plate are large enough to accommodate a fair amount of variance.#Edit a few months later - this is one of most satisfying purchases I've ever made. Chair I loved has received a new lease of life - and a new life made of 'metal' unlike the somewhat plasticky initial life it had.I have no doubt now, that my chair will live forever :)

I don't normally write reviews but in this instance felt compelled to do so.My son has a gaming chair which he loves and both the piston and the bracket had failed. The old piston was stuck in the wheel assembly so purchased the complete kit .Product arrived on time not overly packaged. Very easy to put together especially the castors. I have found on a number of occasions that fitting castors has been an issue needing to resort to brute force. Not this time.The whole package feels sturdy and my son was delighted the chair has been saved.Make sure when ordering you measure the hole fittings as there are a few different brackets available.Five star.

Good quality kit to replace cheap and nasty chair chassis and gas strut.Chair itself was good, but was wobbly (broken welds on chassis) and the gas strut would gradually lower itself over an hour or two.Replaced with this kit and all is not just good, but excellent. Nice and firm/rigid chair, stays at selected height no prob.
