Vacuum Cleaner Attachment Kit with 12 Foot Hose With All The Attachment You Need

I was a bit apprehensive after reading some of the reviews, but have learned that some negative reviewers are either inept or just neglected to read product descriptors before purchasing. I received my vacuum attachment set today and have been vacuuming like a storm! I have the new shark duo clean lift away vacuum. Unfortunately, it has a short reach and I have been unable to reach ceiling corners, vents, etc. with this extra long hose and the extra pipe length, that is no longer a problem. Plus, the round duster is wonderful. The brush hairs are long and thick, making dusting ceiling vents, fans, furniture legs, picture frames, you name it...so much easier. The thick and long bristles are soft and really do a great job dusting around anything. Even with the extra long hose, I have not experienced a loss of suction. The handle of the shark is what one unhooks to vacuum those places the vacuum head cannot. This extra long hose attached perfectly to the shark handle, tight but not too tight. It all held together enough for me to reach into a couple rooms without having to drag the vacuum with me. Also, the handle end of the hose is bent or angled which really makes it easier to use. One of my photos shows where this attachment hose fit onto my shark handle. To those that complained about the hose coming unattached when pulling hard on it, why would you do that? One recognizes this is an attachment, why yank on it unnecessarily? Thus, if you are one of those bulls in a china shop who have probably also yanked out electric cords from your portable appliances, broke cellphone glass from sitting on it , etc. I can understand those types of people feeling this attachment set is cheap or doesn’t work. But if you are one who takes care of your belongings, this set will work just fine for you. The plastic doesn’t seem anymore thin, weak or cheap than most vacuum attachments I have used in the past. When using, plan ahead for the length of the hose so you aren’t yanking on it expecting a 5foot hose to reach 20 feet! I realize I haven’t had the attachment set very long, but I have already vacuumed my entire house with it, testing out how well it works in a variety of places. So far, great! If any problems occur I will amend my review.

I bought this to use with our Hoover Windtunnel Rewind Pet edition. The tools and attachments that came with the vacuum were lacking to say the least and while you could detach the hose, it had very little reach. With this set, I'm now able to get to all the high spots and corners I could never reach before. Upon first use, I had a moment where I didn't think it would work - the attachment hose appeared too large to fit into the vacuum hose. Fortunately, the attachment is made of a slightly flexible material. The plastic/rubber is thick and doesnt feel malleable at first. But with a slight squeeze I was able to fit it into the on-board vacuum hose and it produced a tight fit.The length and included wands allowed me to easily clean A/C vents, ceiling fans, light fixtures, etc without excessive reaching. A note about the horsehair brushes included. I've read comments that the bristles tend to get pulled inward during use, and they do. However in my experience with it, this occurred after cleaning areas high in dust / pet hair etc. When the dust and hair get entangled with the brush, the pull of the vacuum will suck it inward. Simply taking off the attachment and using the hose to clean the brush for 10 seconds took care of it and I was back to cleaning. Don't let a minor issue like that stop you for getting a great tool like this.

The attachment set is working well for me. It fits my Riccar just fine.

Purchased for a Shark Navigator upright. Shark missed the mark totally on their tube. It's too short and even though it's very malleable, it's a total fail IMO. Their solution, that you carry the canister around is absurd, it is awkward, heavy after a while and honestly my hands, wrists and fingers are already painful from arthritis- not happening. I was ready to buy a different hose here, but at the last minute chose this one. It fits the Shark end very well and the hose is almost too long! The attachments are perfect. I want to vacuum (well I don't really!) not use fancy attachments that I need to read the manual to refresh my memory. This is one of my "home run" Amazon purchases. One a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the most flexible and one being so stiff it's a "soon to crack" hose this comes in at a 7-8. I just received it. If I don't update my review then this hose and attachments remained a quality purchase.

My attachment set arrived today, and with it, I was able to do in *minutes* what it normally would have taken me 30-45 minutes to do before. I have an upright vacuum, but the apartment I live in now has 'decorative' concrete flooring (read: might as well just be plain cement). I also have a floor rug in the living room, so I needed a vacuum that could effectively clean *both* carpeted and non-carpeted areas. Before, I had to make do with a dust mop, whisk broom and dustpan, and using the hand crevice tool on my vacuum, dragging it from room to room - time consuming, tedious, and hard on my back. Today, I was able to do the whole apartment, without having to get down on my hands and knees, and I only had to move the vacuum *once* because the hose is long enough to go a very, very long ways before I have to move it! All the parts appear to be very sturdy and well-constructed and (obviously) are compatible with my vacuum (Hoover WindTunnel). I love this set - highly recommend!

After owning and using this hose and attachments for over a year I have found that they don't stay together and constantly fall apart during use. No matter how hard I press them together they just loosen and separate. So your constantly stopping to put the floor brush or an attachment back on the hose. Also you can't use the attachments on the short hose that comes connected to the vacuum. They don't fit and are only made to be used with the hose that comes with this kit. I feel like it's over priced for what you get and should be less expensive considering the quality and problems experienced with using this hose and attachments. I gave it 3 stars because it works and the length is fine but would be much better if the fit of attachments was more secure when attached together.

The answer to the "too short" hose on my Shark Pro vacuum! This extension hose makes it so much easier to clean the tops of curtains, carpeted stairs and even hardwood floors. Once I attach it to the Shark Pro, everything gets cleaned....It is even a sneaky way to de-fuzz the cat. Since the hose is long enough that the noise from the vacuum isn't noticed, I can reduce the suction (via the outlet on the hose handle) and the kitty thinks he's getting spoiled--while his shedding fur goes down the tube. (We practiced with NO SUCTION first, just the hose & soft dusting brush, until he was comfortable.) Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any injuries to anyone who tries to vacuum their cat! If "Don't try this at home!" ever applied--it is here. The hose, extension tubes and attachments are not the heavy, higher grade plastic that comes with your Kirby or Shark vacuums, but they are adequate and well worth the price. The wand and attachments from my old Kirby, Shop Vac and the Shark Navigator Lift-Away Professional (NV356E) also fit this hose. You do lose some of the suction over the long distance of this hose, which is expected, but it still picks up great. I do recommend this extension hose to anyone who is frustrated with the lack of length of their Shark!
