Does this winch fit the Traxxas 1/10 landrover Trail Crawler?

Yes it does, you need to use the original factory bumper. Take off the fake winch and this one fits right in that location.

I have ran it through a bunch of wet conditions including being under water during water crossings and it is still working fine. It does not advertise being water proof though so keep that in mind.

Do I need a battery ?

Mine came with battery. Remote controls 2 winches
