AMACOOL Oscillating Vintage Fan, All Metal Retro Table Top Fan

First- I was looking for something for when I need to nap in my car (I take a lot of road trips). I looked through so many listings that I forgot to check the dimensions of this. I though it was to tiny. Friends, it is not tiny. At first I thought for sure I’d need to return it, but then I opened it up and turned it on. Bottom line: it stays, I don’t care how big it is; this thing is rad! The lights are nice and ambient (if you want them to be), the fan is relatively quiet, and the big size gives this baby some gusto. Haven’t used it for a full nap yet so I’m not sure how long the battery lasts, but I’ll tell you that I’m definitely rooting for it to be a winner!

Bought this a few months ago, I take a certain medication that makes me sweat so ive been though countless portsble fans. I bring this to work and with summer days getting hotter, im very pleased with this little thing. The battery lasts forever. Im talking over 12hours on a high setting. It moves air like nobody's business, and I never thought id get so many compliments on a fan . Its easy to clean, super reliable, and very sturdy. Im rough with this thing and it sill looks and operates like its band new. If youre looking for a fan, you will not find a better one for the price.

Great vintage looking fan. Can circulate air in a 12x12 room at medium setting. My only wish was the cord to come out the side and not atop the base so the cord doesn’t bend so much. This is my second fan because the angle adjuster was broken on the first order.

I was concerned paying around $60 for a small desk fan. I started to feel better once I unboxed it and got to check it out. I really like the look and it goes with the room it is in. This is all metal and appears to be good quality. It's heavier than another plastic fan we had which I like. I also really like the switch. Oddly it's kind of satisfying using it. This is not a big fan. One of the picture I put my hand across it to show you. It's meant to be on a table so I don't think you would want some 24" fan taking up a whole table. Overall I find the fan very quiet on all 3 speeds but yet blows a good amount of air. I was only going to give it 4 stars as I like to see how it holds up long term but thought I would do it differently based on the build quality and give it 5 stars and if it doesn't hold up over time, I'll come back and downgrade it. For me, this one is a keeper.

I love that it is quiet and works great. I also love that it is heavy material (not plastic) which would help with stability on the table. I turned it on last night at lowest speed and slept soundly. The airflow was just perfect for me at the lowest setting. The style brings me back to my young days. I also love that it is easy to clean and totally different from a tower fan. Surprisingly, the cost was something I was willing to pay for a good quality fan.

Came quickly and is a nice metal fan. Runs smoothly and quietly. Will last longer than a cheap plastic model if it’s in your budget. Pleased with purchase

It is too expensive for it to get here and not work properly! I’m very disappointed! It hardly tilts up or down, which was one of the features I need. The highest level 3 barely blows and it is random even when it is stationary!!! It might be a cute fan, but it fails to meet the description! If I didn’t have to ask someone else to help me send it back, I would! Due to health issues I can’t get around well right now and don’t want to ask someone to box it back up after already having someone bring it to my bedside and unboxing it. Just frustrated and now too hot!

This little fan is a powerhouse. It looks every bit as good as the photos and feels solid and really good quality. Not too loud and so effective. I hate the look of most fans and i just wanted something with a little more class in my space since we use this fan year round. Im just really very pleased with my purchase.

It is nice to know that you can still by quality. I love the look and feel of the product, it is nice to have something in the house that is not plastic junk made to sell for the lowest price possible. Based on the build quality I would expect this to last for a very very long time.

This is a great little fan. Looks retro cool, seems very solidly built and works well. One note is that the fan has almost no vertical range of movement. It angles down much more than it can tilt back. Wish it came in a variety of colours.
