It's a bit overpriced but the quality is there so it should last a whole school year. The tabs are a bit thin. The outside material is robust.

UPDATE: this lasted my son all school year. My son is pretty rough with his things (we sometimes go through 3 pairs of good-quality shoes in a school year). I used hot glue (warm temp) to permanently seal both ends of the easy-access zipper since it it started to give way after a few months’ use.This has been a huge help for my unorganized, middle-school student. He started a magnet program this year, & they’re not allowed to carry book bags to class. Fellow higher-grade parents recommended this brand, & I chose the largest option I could find.It holds up well, even with one hardback or two paperback text books inside. When held by the handle, the books’ weight pushes down against the zipper for quick access & the other main open/closure zipper. We learned that the previously mentioned book quantity is the ideal maximum. We’d purchased one before this, & the quick-access zipper couldn’t withstand the weight of 2 hardcover & 1 softcover books. Despite its cost, it was worth it for us to try again & decrease the weight inside, which has worked well.We are able to fit 3 subjects’ needs in the Case-It. That’s about 15 dividers, a softcover textbook, three two-pocket folders, papers & an additional zippered pencil pouch. It has a built-in zipper pouch that is standard size & works great, but we have too many supplies among the 3 classes to fit them all in the included pouch.Additional organization tips…..Add modified (or rounded-edge) 3-hole, 2 pocket folders to separate subjects instead of buying extended-tab dividers. It’s a little tricky to fit folders inside due to the width of the Case-It & the zipper rubbing against the folder when opened & closed. I cut off the corners of the folders & then wrapped the area with heavy packing tape so they don’t split over time. They’ve held out well.I used a white-out pen on the inside of the folder to write reminders such as my son’s student & locker #.On a notebook paper, I used different color markers to write reminders of the things that need to stay in his case-it. I put it in a page protector & placed it at the front of the 3-ring.I bought a retractable badge holder & zip-tied his thumb drive to it. I clipped the badge holder to the section behind the inside zipper pouch.

I love that this binder zips up. It's huge and fits 9 pinfolio pages when they are full of pins which hold pins on the front and back of each page. It also comes with file pocket at the front of the binder which is nice.

I work in the beer industry. One function of my job is to write up credits for customer accounts that we have to pick up barrels of beer to bring back to our warehouse.I used to use a 3” standard office superstore made binder and all of the use of it broke not only the top vinyl seam but it broke the seam on the bottom cover as well.I needed something new and durable and wouldn’t look “cheap” and I found this item.I had compartments for me to keep blank invoices I need to fill out, pens, and a carbon copy style receipt book I have to use for my company as well.It has strong rings like any household made binder but they are tougher than those other products and it has two zippers for you to close up to keep everything organized and clean.Not to mention it has file folders inside if you need to do even more organizing.I have only had it for a few weeks but I love it.

Unfortunately, I had to return this binder is was used but was damaged. I purchased a new binder. This brand offers several great large binders in several options that will meet your needs. I would repurchase.

Very upset. I buy these every year and this year I don’t know what brand to get?? I got this one for my son last year and the zipper broke during the first week which was only three days. He lost papers getting out of the car. My son had to keep using it all year with safety pins holding it together. About a month later my other sons did the same thing 😡 looking for a good brand because I’m too afraid to buy these again!

Purchased this for my son to use at school. The zipper on the side (to access the files without opening the whole binder) pops open and just will not stay shut and because of the size of the zipper his papers and stuff fall out of the binder. I had to sew it shut in order for it to stay closed but that is only a temporary fix. Overall its a nice sturdy binder but the extra zipper for easy document access seems a little unnecessary.

As advertised. Sturdy and well organized.

Very handy with the pockets on the left and ring file on the right. I do find the rings very stiff to open and they snap sharply to close. Caught my finger - not pleasant. So I use plastic inserts to avoid constantly opening the rings.

Typical for these items. Zipper broke. Hard to find a good quality binder. They need to be durable for a teen in high school. Unfortunately, this one is no better than all the others.
