Great fermenter, but a few points of note
There isn't any NSF stamp on the keg despite the TMCRAFT website saying its NSF approved. It looks as high quality as any other NSF keg but would be nice to have that certification. I ordered two of these and both had loose ball lock post so make sure to tighten those before using it. I swapped out to a floating dip tube and saw it then but otherwise I might have made a mess when cleaning and sanitizing. The handles are a bit narrow so it's not comfortable to carry when full, a little foam or rubber grips would go a long way to improve that. 6.5 gal allows for plenty of head room to make 5 gal batches even with vigorous yeast strains like belgians. Works great for pressure fermenting, rated for max pressure of 80psi. Comes with a standard straight dip tube which is worth swapping out for a floating tube if you're using it for fermenting. Not much taller than 5 gal corny kegs so it fits in my chest freezer easily for lagering even with valves or gas attached to the posts.

Worth it!
I bought several for homebrewing. I like the 6.5 gallon capacity for fermenting in the keg and then serving from it. They fit no problem in my kegerators. Well worth what I paid for them.

Great for keg fermenting!
This was absolutely perfect for fermenting, and especially if you want to pressure ferment. I made a 5.5 gallon batch of a doppelbock that I pressure fermented in this keg using a floating dip tube and a spunding valve. After fermenting, I transferred the beer to a regular 5 gallon keg and it is now lagering (note: I intentionally did 5.5 gallons because I knew that I would lose some beer to the trub). The small amount of beer left in this keg after transferring to the lagering keg had great flavor! The line for the krausen didn't even come close to the top. If you are curious how I did this, send the CO2 line through the OUT ball lock, and attach the spunding valve to the IN ball lock (yes, you read that correctly, in through the out and out through the in). That keeps the beer from shooting out of the spunding valve during fermentation and under pressure. Transfer to the lagering keg as normal (CO2 on the IN and transfer though the OUT to the OUT of the receiving keg, spunding valve on the IN of the receiving keg to relieve pressure during transfer). You need a clear transfer line so you can see when the floating dip tube gets low enough to starting picking up trub and then stop.

Great customer service
I discovered a dip tube problem with my new keg a week or so after the Amazon return window closed. I reached out to TMCRAFT. They responded promptly and resolved my issue quickly and well. I was impressed by this level of customer service.

I want to buy more!
I love these kegs! bought 2 so far, and would like a 3rd. I only wish they were a bit less expensive. they do seal up nicely, seem to be of good quality. I worry about denting the bottom but I'm sure they will be fine.

Pressure Fermentation
Great keg for fermenting 5 gallon batches. I’ve done multiple lagers at room temp with this and for the price it can’t be beat. I may just sell my conical and get more of these…

Works great
Works great. I've done about 5 beer fermentations inside it. Pair it with a floating dip tube and you can serve right out of the keg.
