Greenworks 80V 10 in Electric Pole Saw, 2.0 Ah Battery and Charger

I bought the Gen 2 because it was 3 lbs lighter than the Gen 1, and I am glad I did it, as the weight, while still 10 lbs, is tolerable. Fortunately, the heavy battery counterbalances the heavy head. The cut from such as small blade is fast and impeccable, even for large branches.

Very strong and battery lasts a long time. Becomes a tad “head” heavy after a while of use. Chain needs adjustment after several cuts or at least checked. Overall a very good purchase.

Like the Greenworks 80v line. We've bought multiple items including mower, weed eater, edger, and blower. This was a great add-on. Purchased this as an open box item and description said that everything was included, however it was missing the oil for the chain/blade. Battery life has been great and it is really good at cutting limbs on trees. The largest I've done is probably 4-5" in diameter. The polesaw is a little on the heavy side mainly because of the battery which makes balancing it a little interesting when using the extension. The only issue I've had is the chain coming off multiple times even on smaller limbs. It' a very quick fix (2-3mins), however not use to that happening so often compared to my old wired polesaw. Only reason I'm giving it four stars. Can't beat the warranty and customer service has always been amazing when I've called in with issues.

This has great power and try the pole is long enough to cut high branches. This goes goes great with my other Greenworks blower and weed wacker. All use the same battery type.

I have several Greenworks power tools. I was reluctant to buy this pole saw concerned that it is hangs up, I'll have trouble reaching it. I've had two gas/oil mix pole saws with power to spare. This one operated great. I had limbs down quickly. It is very handy to be able to trim something and not have to take a chainsaw and a ladder and be at risk of making a Fail Video Reel.

Easy to assemble, Easy to use.

Heavy and hard to handle at the maximum extension. Saw cuts very well. I did wear out the chain cutting oak logs long before the battery ran out.

Easy to use and does a great job cutting high limbs.
