Great Travel Rod @ Awesome Price
Ferrules fit well together. Only used on one trip but rod held in place and stayed in one piece while casting. Only complaint is that there needs to be dots/lines on each end where ferrules meet to align rod better and with ease when putting together.I am pleased with the quality of the rod given the price and will definitely use again on my next trip.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:4 piece rod set that would fit in suitcase

Good rod
Bought two of these for a fishing trip to Canada. It packed, and travelled, well in my suitcase, assembled as advertised, and worked well during the four days of steady fishing. Having used these type rods before I taped the joints when I assembled the rod for the first time and had no issues with the pieces coming apart. We caught some big small mouth bass and pike and the rod was a little more limber than I had hoped it would be. It was advertised as medium, but is actually more limber than that... hence the 4 rating.

So far so good
So far so good. Probably fished with it total of 10 hrs. Landed small fish up to about 2 lbs. seems to be holding up just fine. The pieces fit together well and I like the handle.

Zero issues
I was able to pull in 13" trout with this no problem (though that's not a massive sized fish). Still, the rod put together without issues, felt great in my hand, casted well, and handled like a champ. It came apart easy too. I had to strap it to the back of my pack which was expected of a 4 piece, 7' rod. I really liked it for my lake backpacking trips. I have a shorter, 5-piece for my creek/river excursions.

Very light, bring it on a hike to an alpine lake or stream.
I haven't used it yet, but my impression is that it's a good rod for the money. It's very light, has some flex for small lures, and appears we'll made. I put a little wax on the ends so they'll fit tighter.
