Excellent replacement keyless entry remote and key
I got this because my OEM key/key fob literally exploded (the key separated from the fob), requiring me to seek a new one. Whatever you do, DON'T go to the dealer for this! They will really stick it to you with an overpriced replacement. This key and key fob are an EXACT replacement. Keep in mind that you will still need to contact a locksmith to cut the key blank, and to reprogram the fob to work with your vehicle. However, the price for doing so is far, far less than what the local Ford dealership will charge you! Just to get it cut and reprogrammed cost me $120 to the locksmith, vs $400+ from the dealership. Unless you have a money tree in your backyard, get this and pocket the savings (which I'm sure you can spend on other necessities).
