I was gifted this as one of my housewarming presents, and I’ve used it multiple times on both carpets and my couch. It works really, really well! I love how small and portable it is — makes it super easy to use anywhere.The variety of tools that come with it are very convenient and help get into all the nooks and crannies. It works fast and gets the job done every time. Definitely recommend this for anyone needing a handy, effective cleaner!

I have very small areas of carpet in my home. I needed something to clean high traffic areas and did not want the hassle of renting a rug cleaner. I saw many small spots cleaning machines, but this one was the only one I found that allowed you to flush out the hose AND remove and clean BOTH tanks after usage. So no weird sludge growing in your machine between uses. That sold me. Some people complain that there is not enough suction. NOT true. You get more suction if you push down firmly. I also had better results with suction if I removed the little brush tool when sucking up the water. I bought the one with the electric cord power source. Less complicated and gives plenty of length to maneuverwhen using. Easy to store as well. For the price (Amazon prime day deal) you couldn't go wrong. I recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this portable carpet cleaner to tackle pet and kid accidents and small spills, and it’s been a game-changer. I use it on carpets, couches, dining table fabric chairs, and seats in my car. The suction always pulls up much more dirt than I expected — the dirty water tank was surprisingly gross (in a good way!).It’s lightweight enough to carry from room to room, and the handle makes it easy to grab. I also used it on my car seats and was impressed at how well it lifted old stains. That said, the clean-water tank is pretty small — after about one medium spill, I had to refill it. I wouldn’t recommend it for cleaning an entire carpeted room, but that’s not what it’s designed for. Perfect for cleaning up little messes all around the house without having to drag a huge machine to all the different spots. It is loud, but so are most vacuums so it doesn’t bother me. Lots of power for something so small!

This little machine does a respectable job for cleaning light stains and odors on fabric covered furniture and small rugs. It's limited brush size and suction power are not ideal for larger jobs such as an entire carpet in an average sized room. For that, I'd use an upright cleaner or rent a professional model. However, this Hoover Cleanslate works ok for cleaning my sofa and several rugs I have when accidents happen. I really like the simplicity of the design, easy to follow instructions, heavy-duty long cord, general built quality, and the overall aesthetics. It's not high design, but the plastic tanks look stunning. It's also fun to use. Please note that if you need to clean up urine odors, the standard solution is not strong enough. You'll need to presoak the area and use a special pet solution. It may take time and a few applications. Also, this machine does not have enough suction to clean cushions that have been deeply penetrated by spills. A strong shop vac may be a better option. Overall, for light work, this is a reasonably effective product and a fair value.

I like the convince and mobility of this mini extractor. Works great and has useful tools.and hose clean feature. I wish the solution tank was bigger though but the price was good.

I ordered this to steamclean some spots on nice area rugs that my senior Pomeranian had accidents on. It works amazingly well! I then used it to spot clean some places on the stair runners, and again, wow!!! No more stain or smell on either side of my lovely area rugs. The amount of dirt and hair it pulls out of carpets is amazing, and everything smells better afterward too. Best of all, it is really portable. For my purposes, I did not want to have to haul a full-size steamcleaner around, so it's perfect for me.

This works so great. It’s easy to transport from room to room and area to area. I live in an apartment and I was able to clean almost a whole room with the small area recommendation. The floor doesn’t get overly saturated but it definitely picks up all the gross things that the naked eye doesn’t see. The cord is a decent length also. I haven’t had any problems with leaks or transporting. The room smells a lot better almost instantly.My negatives are that after the first use the brush got gross and I’m not sure how to throughly clean that. I also had to flush the hose with sink water because the self cleaning cap did not produce enough pressure to clean the gunk out the hose.
