After many years of good service, my Remington Vacuum Hair Clippers finally stopped working. I was all set to buy the same item, but decided to look for other options as the Remington was 7 years old and I thought there might be better options today. Was I glad I did!!!Although I use my clippers to ‘shave’ my head, I decided to give the Asahina Body Hair Trimmer a try. The reasons for my decision were the great reviews, the unit is rechargeable and the Remington is corded, and I liked the smaller profile. Needless to say that, if I didn’t get a comparable shave or took much longer to shave, none of those advantages that led to my decision would matter.Immediately after the Asahina trimmer arrived, I unpacked and was pleasantly surprised that it came charged thus allowing me to try it immediately. The first thing I noticed is how quiet this trimmer is compared to my Remington. The second thing I noticed immediately is how good it feels in my hands. Where the Remington is big, bulky, and loud, this unit is just the write size and extremely quiet. Advantage Asahina.Now, the real test was… Will this smaller unit with seemingly less power and suction compare in performance with my old Remington? I was astonished! The results were as good, if not better than my old Remington. The vacuum is surprisingly good. The shave/trim is excellent. I was done faster with this smaller unit than with my Remington because the cut is more consistent throughout. An added bonus is also that it won’t cut you if not handled properly. With the old Remington, the metal clips can cut if not totally flat or if you skin gets trap in them. I have not had this issue with the Asahina.I highly recommend the Asahina Trimmer to anyone looking for a vacuum trimmer or hair clippers. This little trimmer is amazing! This works surprisingly well. The trimming is smooth, and the vacuum feature is interesting and definitely makes cleanup easier. It's easy to use, and it comes with oil and a brush for maintenance. The battery life seems good too. I have no complaints so far.

This little trimmer is working really good, it is the perfect size for hard to trim areas, it has enough power and a safe blade. I am really liking the vacuum option , it is reducing the mess and cleanup greatly

This is a quality built unit that actually works! VERY good. It sucked up 99% of the hairs off my balls. I was laying in my bed using a mirror and buzzing away this unit. No biting or blood was let. I could not find one single hair on my bed sheet! It was a real jungle down their. I've never shaved or used Nair hair removal in 83 years of growth. I feel about ten pounds lighter now (LOL). It took me a while to figure how to get the top off to remove the jungle inside it. Just push up on the top of the small mouth area right behind the blades. Buy it... Its the real deal.

I'm a woman and use this on my head, arms, legs, and downstairs bits. No pulling or cuts like my last vacuum clippers. Very easy to clean and empty. I wish the vacuum suction was a bit stronger, but it works really well as is 😊
