Kwelity
A solid 'second' album from Kweli. Whilst this on first listen may sound like he has sold-out, like Rawkus, to the mainstream. This album is definitely a 'grower' and the more I've listened to it the more interesting and cool things I've discovered. Don't let the single (waiting for the DJ) or the first track put you off as Bilal contrives to sound his worst on these. 'Put it in the air' is class, although somehow sounds lighter than it does on soundbombing three. Gun Music and Guerilla Monsoon are also stand-out tracks. Fans of Kweli will like this and like it more the more they listen but I think this will also probably appeal to a broader audience. If this converts Nelly listeners into fans of real hip-hop, then is this such a bad thing. If you haven't got Reflection Eternal 'Train of Thought' buy that first as that is genuine five star material.

Quality = Quality
Kweli serves up another delight!!! Both the beats and lyrics are sublime, and deliver a variety of sounds mixed with diverse subject matters.Jay Z on 'Moment of Clarity' states...."that if truth be told he would lyrically be Talib Kweli"....well wouldnt we all! He has good reason to envy the skills of Talib, great thought and passion delivered with aggression and purpose result in great tracks like Good to you, Body shock, Waiting for the DJ, Gun Music, Put it in the air and the antheme Get by.This album may not appeal to the commerical hip hop lovers. It has no neptunes beats, and few collaborations with big names. Its just a great hip hop album for those who love music.

KWELITY ALL THE WAY!
Perfect...Kweli's first solo release is the perfect blend of moods all encompassed in 1 CD. From the more upbeat tracks such as Beat and Put It In The Air, to the typical Kweli deepness on tracks such as Won't You Stay, Where Do We Go, Talk To You and The Proud you can't fault this album. Everything he has ever touched I have loved. He's up there with the very best lyicists, with the likes of Common and Nas. Everyone should own this album, if only take some knowledge from his rhymes.1

Quality- Five Star
Kweli has put forward one of the best debut solo albums which totally competes with illmatic. Which in itself is a superb album. Quality is an album compiled together by his true feelings and experiences and to top it off he writes what influenced him to write the song in the booklet. The only thing that I missed on this album was the Hi Tek beats. But he still had the likes of DJ Quik and Shock in the back. New solo album out soon and I hopes it keeps up with the standard of his history.
