While this kit says for ages 4-12, I would say not all 4/5 yr olds will have the patients and fine more skills needed to put this together. It makes a great parent/ child project though. My 5 yr old needed help with the rhinestones. Once together she loved the design. I'm assuming this can't go in the dishwasher due to the stickers (I can't remember if I read that in the instructions), but it's easy enough to clean by hand with a bottle brush. I'll be keeping this gift in mind for a few of my daughter's friend's birthdays.

It's a decent enough bottle and my kid had a fun time decorating it, however she managed to sneak off with it when she did so we weren't able to set out any cups or anything to put some of the jewels in, so I keep finding them everywhere. Otherwise it's great, the jewels are sticking really well and have handled going back and forth to camp all summer without all of them peeling off.

This is a craft for older kids as it says 6+, although with help my 4 year old was able to do quite a bit of the jewel placement. Lots and lots of little pieces with the jewels. The letter / number that is printed on the picture to show you which color to use shows up if you don’t put enough on or place them close enough together.Overall a fun crafty product that I'd recommend.
