I removed the broken 1997 vintage skylight and frame which had failed, cleaned off the old non-setting mastic and this replacement fitted the aperture perfectly. Easy to install, good fit, great quality - closes with a reassuring clunk and should last twenty eight years like the one it replaced.

Good skylight but make sure you check how thick your roof is as it didn’t fit my caravan with the screws provided but got around it by using some long plasterboard screws as these are the only screws I could find that were thin enough and long enough to fit. But now fitted all ok. Would have given 5 stars if it came with long and short screws.

Having made a few rough measurements of the fittings for my broken rooflight I took a bit of a punt that the roof cover would fit the current housing. I was able to unscrew the hinges from this new unit and the existing unit and swap the roof cover into the existing housing. This meant that I could keep the existing sun blind in place (this item doesn't have one). Done in less than ten minutes and a perfect fit, even though the previous dome was clear and a totally different shape. Price is very good compared with branded items and it feels quite solid. Worth a go... you may be as lucky as me.

I was looking for a replacement bathroom skylight for my Motorhome after the original one had cracked on the outer skin. I replaced it myself which was quite time consuming to remove all the previous bonding sealant in preparation for installing this new one. The size of this one was a prefect fit for replacement even though there were subtle differences in the design. So far it's performed well and has been a good reasonably priced replacement. The only small niggle I would say is that the catch for lowering the internal fly screen to then raise the skylight vent up, is very stiff to unclip and feels like it might break if forced too hard.

Bought this to replace a broken skylight in a horsebox which has a different roof structure than a motorhome or caravan so I was prepared to modify the fixing arrangements. It comes with no fixing accessories which does mean shopping for quite specialized long thin self tapping screws. For the price these should be included. With the flyscreen open the exposed underside of the skylight is not very pretty - not a problem for the horse but could be an issue in a caravan. The skylight's opening mechanism has a positive action but I am not sure how robust the whole thing is - particularly if it is exposed to strong winds. Only time will tell. Satisfied overall but not to the point where I would recommend this for all applications.
