Justice Inked: Book 7 (Cowboy Justice Association)

Rayne is new to the small town and has set up as a tattoo artist. Dare, the very grumpy handsome sheriff gets her to do a tattoo and Rayne fancies him. She is the opposite of the women he normally dates and he stays away until her shop is broken into. They start an affair but keep it secret until her house is broken into and someone is murdered.

This was my second time reading these books. It felt that I was reading the books for the first time. It was great how the female characters were all strong, and basically had their alpha males like putty in their hands.Very well written.

This was a very enjoyable story line. I had more than a couple of giggles at Raynes attitude. Poor Dare, when she hit him like a freight train. This author conveyed the story in detail but without over excessive use of words. Well worth a read.Loved the front cover too. What a body.....

Dare's story was fun, different from others because HEA didn't end with a ring. Well a physical one anyway. Two things puzzled me, Rayne talks about closing her shop Sunday and Monday then after the break in she was reopening Monday and claiming a six day week with obscene number of hours. Also smirk this side of the pond is never a pleasant gesture as it seems to be over there!

Rating 4.4 stars. Good story with romance. Can be read stand alone. I liked the way that it started and the story flowed nicely from there. Not one I would read again but very enjoyable at the time.

Rayne is new in town and runs a tattoo parlour. She's bright and loud - complete opposite of repressed Sherriff Dare. Some really funny moments, especially in the pantry. A break in and murder at her shop brings these two together. I guessed who did it bit still enjoyed the book.

Grouchy Dare has had a tough life. He has some deep issued that causes him to walk around with a grimace all the time. Rayne is a colourful tattoo artist who speaks her mind. When she becomes a target the grouchy sheriff comes along.

An Intriguing story. There is a Nice depth to the characters. Lots of action and suspense. A very easy read.
