Women's Fingerless Mitts Pure Cashmere Made in Scotland

I love these but find that I have to repurchase annually. I'm very picky so I keep buying the same pair of these fingerless mitts since I love the warmth, softness and the design of them, they look really cool and stylish and are better than fingerless gloves as you can draw your fingers inside them if they're cold. The problem is that the thumb really needs some reinforcement and eventually unravels and frays badly, meaning I end up needing a new pair after a year or two.

The grey mitts are a lovely silver-grey colour (a lighter shade than in the advert pic), well made, warm, lovely and soft. I also bought them in black (in Nov.2016). My size is slightly smaller than Small* and they come to the top ends of my little fingers; NOT a product fault, but having very small hands needs me to fold the seam over so my little fingers can protrude. They're great for using the computer keyboard as, for each mitt, the single large hole for the four fingers doesn't in any way impede typing; fingered mitts restricts easy typing.* Glove size guides in shops and at Amazon say Small is 7-7.5 inches from base of palm to tip of the (extended) middle finger. My measurement is 6.5 inches. Mentioned in case you have small or very small hands and are wondering if these will fit.

The mittens are lovely, I wish they'd come in more a serious package with care instructions and so on.

Great product. Keeps my hands lovely and warm and is helping enormously with the "white finger" problem I have (which is why I bought them). The gloves are very nice looking as well, very smart indeed. I have hand washed this item with no problem at all. I wear them every day and when I need to replace them or fancy getting a second pair, it will be these gloves I shall buy.

I play the bagpipes and wanted a pair of fingerless gloves to keep my hands warm when playing outside in the cold weather. I've only used them once so far but they did the job just fine. They aren't bulky and the style of them suited just fine.
