I love this it's excellent easily takes notes and although there is a subscription used wisely it's not too costly . Recommend

This is so good. I take lots of notes in meetings and the transcription is way better than the Teams one we use. The summary is done using chat GPT and I’m so impressed with what it does. Detail is excellent. It records both sides of a phone call too and gives you a transcript and summary also . I’ve not used the mind map but when glancing at it, that’s also very accurate. Life saver product for me and also for someone like a EA,PA etc. of course you can just record your own voice for voice memos etc. Yes there is a subscription after 3 months but my view is it’s negligible when I look at the time it saves me so I think well worth it.

A great quality extremely slimline good looking device. Records really well and is even to able to translate in environments where the audio is less than optimal. The speech to text conversion is pretty darn good. So why the three stars? Because the summarisation is okay but not as a great as the device. Specifically, it gives far to general summaries and sometimes in the real captured conversation there are metaphors, analogies and specific examples that should be in the summary to exemplify the point - but this summarisation process they currently have is not clever enough to recognise that. I hope they will work on this in a future version to allow capture of metaphors, analogies and examples.

Don't let the subscription put you off, if you're like me and have multiple, detailed meetings, every day, this is a game changer! Yes it's not perfect but the amount of time it saves is priceless, I can now focus on meetings and be involved rather than having my head in a note pad, asking people to repeat themselves.This is not an audio playback device, as it seems from some reviews, people are confused. Its for recording then transcribing into useable notes in whichever style you chose as per my screen shot.I had to purchase an additional 600 minuets which starts getting used after the rollover 600 minutes a month. The additional minuets are what you get over a 12 month period.Also, check the plaud site as prices fluctuate for both device, subscriptions and additional transcription quotas.
