These were very stale. After contacting the company they sent out fresh product to me right away.I am pleased that they fixed this problem.

Soft, REAL Carmel all the way through (no fake dairy-like substance in the middle)
Right now these are the best carmels on Amazon, and I have tried pretty much every Carmel on the market in Chicago stores. In addition, these are appropriately-sized and the packaging is easy to remove (old-fashioned candy wrappers). I recommend buying many.

Grainy
Meh. I got these because I could (allergies are limiting); but they are a weird, grainy texture. Flavor is nice, but somehow remind me of when my batches of fudge fail. lol Won't order again.
