Bioshock: From Rapture to Columbia

When I saw that the book was used I was worried that it would be a bit ruined, but it in pristine condition! I love Bioshock and if there’s anyone out there who truly enjoys this game like I did, consider giving it a read.

Gives you a great history of the series and in the industry of gaming too. It really explains how they put to them together, great read for Bioshock fans.

The stories of BioShock 1, 2 and Infinite might seem a little all over the place when first playing the series. Even hardcore fans might've missed little details in the environment that would've painted a clearer picture of the complex stories.This book perfectly explains, from the beginning to the end, what happened in Rapture and Columbia and explains the story in a captivating and thrilling way! Some parts even gave me chills down my spine.Apart from the games' stories, this book explains the background around the series as well; Ken Levine's intentions, sources and references.The outer appearance of this hardcover book is phenomenal as well! The bronze finish around the edges gives the book a classy look that reminds of Columbia.And lastly - the spelling mistakes (that are a plenty) are funny ;)

Libro davvero molto bello.Ciascun gioco che compone la saga è analizzato da ogni punto di vista, narrativo, tematico e tecnico, senza però ricadere nel barocco opinionistico che talvolta si incontra in questi lidi. Servirebbero più approfondimenti di questo tipo, aumenterebbero la percezione del media "videogioco" che oggi è detenuta dal grande pubblico.L'inglese con cui è stato tradotto dall'originale francese è scolastico e per nulla complesso.Consigliato ai fan accaniti dell'opera di Levine e Irrational (coadiuvati da 2K Marin) o a chi, semplicemente, cerca spunti per perfezionare la propria critica videoludica.
