These cameras are a good value for use as a puppy cam. The picture quality if good as is the sound and microphone. If I have to leave my pups for a period of time, I can easily check in on them. If I need them for security reasons the picture and sound features function well. The night vision is clear, and I've not had a Wi-Fi connectivity problem as other reviews have mentioned. The app is responsive and easy to use.

The camera was very easy to setup and the resolution is good. I wish the app had a way to further customize options such as disabling the green light on the front once configured but it also serves the purpose for setup too. It would be nice to disable Event recording in tandem with the disabling of alerts otherwise, serves my purpose very well.

This camera and app need a lot more features especially to pay a monthly fee. You’re not able to snooze, so when someone is in the room or area you get a notification every time they move if you have person detection on. Otherwise you turn it off and won’t know if another person is detected. The volume works on one of our apps but not the other. So not able to talk in the camera. The volume is not adjustable and pretty low for the 1 device we can get it to work. Quality of picture is okay, not impressive against other cameras available. Getting to the settings or options for the camera is time consuming, takes a good try multiple times to click on where need to go. After a recent update, the Amazon key promotion keeps popping up every time I get into the app, it’s extremely annoying. I will trash both the camera and garage if the app keeps asking me to sign up for another product/service. My husbands app doesn’t work half of the time, so we I usually have to close the garage door. Overall it’s only worth the $30 paid, otherwise I would return.

I use this camera to keep an eye on my mini poodle, especially when he wasn’t feeling well. The night vision is incredibly clear I can see every detail even in the dark. The app works perfectly and gives me peace of mind knowing he’s okay while I’m not in the room. Absolutely worth it!
