Britto Plush Lighten Up Musical Santa

Just as well I have other Britto Plush items to keep me smiling in the meantime.Was VERY impressed when I received this and having several other Britto items my expectations were high and this snowman didn't disappoint.It arrived with batteries included, you simply press the snowman's right hand and lights start flashing on his face and body and the tune "SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN" plays too. It's very adorable.A great feature is that it's a toggle button ... which means you can stop the music and lights by simply pressing again. Very handy as have had other musical Christmas toys and they make you endure a full song before stopping on there own. Which can get a bit tedious after 27 verses of the same song - because you just KNOW everyone is going to want to pick this up and press the button themselves.Couldn't decide between Santa and the Snowman so ended up getting both (am not a cat fan so didn't want that option, and already have the Britto Reindog in the non-musical version).Thought once I saw them in person it would be easier to choose which one I wanted to keep. That wasn't the case. Am keeping them both. Also bought another couple for my Mum and sister (I introduced them to Britto and they are huge fans too). They live overseas so I needed to remove the batteries before posting. I found this quite difficult ... but that is mostly because the toys are made to such a high quality.There is a small Velcro opening on the bottom which hides the battery compartment. The on-off switch is easy enough to locate and operate. The difficulty is that to remove the batteries you need to unscrew the teeny tiniest little screw. It seemed to take forever :-(That is the only thing I would change on this otherwise perfect item.

Larger than expected and is really beautiful and played the music no problem. I was going give as a present to my son and his partner but have decided to keep it myself
