I love it. I feel like it is more for me than for my baby girl.I like the avdar’s founder family and always wanted to support them. Started with large rainbow set and hopefully get the baby gym and the bed frame etcGreat light woods, easy on the eye colors and good sturdy grip.Ohh such a cute wooden ball comes with it and with that we have so much fun in the house! Thanks Avdar and keep your good work up!

A beautiful, complete set that works exactly as it should
I've never handled the 'big name' rainbow stacking toy, so I can't compare them, but I'm very happy with this item.--The arches are wooden, not plastic or silicone, and they are numerous. The set comes with twelve arches, plus a wooden ball for ball runs and mazes.--The colors are beautiful, rich, and clear, with a lovely gradient. They also give the appearance of being a wood stain, rather than paint. This permits the beauty of the grain to show through, which I quite like, but it also preserves the texture. I ordered another set once before, but it was less than half the size of this one, and that one *was* painted. The paint sealed away the wood, resulting in arches that were glossy and so slippery that they couldn't actually function as a stacking toy, because one piece would simply slide off or past the other. Not so, here! These arches retain their texture, so they have a certain amount of friction, enabling them to sort of stick to one another a little bit, so to speak. I don't mean that they're gritty or rough, because the opposite is true. They're warm and smooth to the touch, but slightly grippy rather than slippery.--The arches are also nice and wide, several times wider than the other set I have. The width of this set means more surface area where the arches contact one another, which is great for grip and stackability. It also conveys an impression of strength and sturdiness. The pieces don't seem fiddly or delicate, as though they might snap or collapse.--I will say, though, that they're very lightweight and soft, compared to what I expected when I think 'wood.' They're like basswood, meaning that they may be easily scraped or dinged. Time will tell, and I will update my review if this occurs. For now, I really have nothing negative to say about this product. It seems thoughtfully designed and well-made. It is pricey, but it's not cheap with respect to the quality, and open-ended toys like this can lead to all sorts of creative fun for years of play. I was happy to snag one, and glad to have a set that is actually *functional,* rather than the disappointing set I had before. That one was tiny, and good for nothing but decoration. This is so much better.

Just Ok
We have another set that I like better but this rainbow set works fine. It’s not super smooth and definitely not sealed so these are not something you would want to get wet. With that said they’ll probably easily stain and won’t be very easy to clean.

Love it
It's absolutely gorgeous wood, and I love the colors. Aesthetically pleasing for my daughters room. I also have a 3 year old boy who LOVES making the different shapes by stacking these! It is great for their creativity. A staple wood play piece.

Love it!
I love this rainbow! I love how many pieces there and how many different configurations! I do think my 12 month old daughter is a little young to appreciate all of the different designs you can do with it, but I anticipate it will be a great product for open-ended play. The colors are saturated and the material is pretty strong. They are a little wobbly when being stacked, but that could be normal. My only real "complaint" is that the corners are pretty sharp. Since this is a toy for babies/toddlers/little kids, those corners should be sanded down before color is added. My daughter has poked herself with the corners, even with monitored play, which results in tears. Overall a great product, but I feel as though it could use a little refinement.

Hard to beat
Arrived in the original labeled box. Blocks were wrapped in plastic, the ball was loose. Arches are made with a high quality wood. It's probably one of the best wooden based toys I've came across as far as the grade of wood that's used. Durability is great. The ball is completely smooth to the touch, no grainy texture whatsoever. All arches are lightweight and wide making it easier for kids to hold on to and interact with. Each piece is sanded and polished making it feel smoother than most other wooden based blocks, you do not need to worry about splinters. They do have a slight grainy texture but, this is more so a natural wood type of texture. Colors are bright, a few could use an extra layer of paint as there are some noticeable splotches throughout. Sequence sizing of small to large and vice-versa is extremely well done, the fit of each arch is almost perfect. Bottoms of all the arches are leveled making them easy to balance on one another. There's so many things you can do with these. The height on the larger ones can be used in addition to a balance beam. If set up and spaced apart they make a lengthy tunnel to push cars or rolling balls through and then all the various stacking options. My kiddo was immediately attracted to this set so it's definitely staying accessible.
