I’m always on the hunt for the perfect drugstore mascara. I used to only wear IT Cosmetics Superhero (which is super black & doesn’t smudge), and Thrive Liquid Lash Extensions (which is also super black and is a tubing mascara for easy removal). They’re both great, but sometimes I don’t want to spend more than $10. I just went through a tube of L’Oreal Panorama in Blackest Black. I didn’t love it at first because it wasn’t very dark, but over time I got used to using it and liked how long and volumized my lashes looked. It’s also a tubing mascara, but not as easy as Thrive. I almost got another tube, and then I saw this. ✨ IT’S AMAZING!!!! ✨ The brush is silicone and bendy, almost like it’s “spring loaded” as you apply it. Each bristle grabs a lash and pulls it long. I don’t normally like this type of plastic brush, but wow! One coat was ok, 2 coats was beautiful, and 3+ is dramatic. It never clumps (like Panorama did) and it gets longer by the coat. I got more volume after the 2nd swipe. It’s not smudging and looks rich and bold. My son (5) just saw me and said “WOW Mommy, your lashes look huge!” 🤣 If you’re thinking about this or Panorama, get this!!! Less clumps and more length.

Hands down, 5 stars. This is a high-quality mascara that truly delivers. It dries quickly without flaking or transferring, and the thin applicator brush makes application smooth, easy, and precise. I wore it all day and well into the night at a wedding with absolutely no touch-ups needed. It held up beautifully the entire time. I will definitely be purchasing this again.

The formula is lightweight and comfortable and it builds nicely without making lashes stiff or clumpy.. and the brush does a GREAT job separating the lashes. It lasts all day with NO flaking or smudging, even in humid weather and it holds a curl well while adding length. That said, if you’re looking for dramatic or instant volume in one coat, this may fall a bit short and requires layering. Removal is easy and it doesn’t irritate my eyes, which is a plus for sensitive eyes! Overall, this is a reliable and well-performing everyday mascara with great wear time and definition, just not the most volumizing option out there

Loving how long and separated I can get my lashes with this mascara! It's not a tubing mascara, just your traditional lengthening mascara and it works pretty well with good working time where I can come back and keep adding to it without building a clumpy, thick mess--so I'm really liking that! I'm not noticing flaking during the day, but since this is not waterproof, it doesn't hold up great to high sweating, as would be expected. Other than that, I'm happy that they offer a brown-black shade for us fair glad that can't pull off a harsh black color and this is definitely at a great price point compared to the rediculous tubing mascaras, and I'm getting better length with this than I did with those more expensive brands!!

This is a very good mascara, but my lashes are too straight, so when I apply the mascara my lashes look great and 5 mins later they are straight down… I always have to go with the waterproof version so my lashes will remain looking great even after hours.

I am a loyal L’Oréal mascara fan. I sometimes venture out and try other brands after a viral video misleads me to believe it delivers what it’s selling. Especially if it’s an affordable drugstore brand. Let me just say, I was mad the minute I removed the wand from the tube and felt no wiper/stopper. Surely this will fill my lashes with a clumpy coverage, I thought, but some how it didn’t. I swear it’s sorcery. The only time it gets clumpy is when it’s time for a new tube. And even then, a lash comb fixes it instantly. I’ve already bought my 2nd tube. L’Oréal is still my go to, but this product is now in my rotation.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Firework Mascara in blackest-black. Believe the hype. Goes on flawlessly, no sensitive-eye reaction, beautifully separates and lengthens with a full, soft, natural effect. This pic was taken 8+ hours post-application, after taking a long hike on a hot, humid day & rubbing my eyes several times to wipe-away sweat. Impressive.

Love this! I've tried so many mascaras but this is a new favorite! Separates so, so well and gets every tiny little hair - and in difference to other mascaras (looking at you Loreal Telescopic), it doesn't smudge, clump or flake even after 3-4 coats. Extremely buildable.

This is a really good lash volumizing and lengthening mascara that doesn’t goop up your lashes. It gives a nice finish to a makeup or no makeup look by enhancing your eyelashes and your eyes. My go to since purchasing.
