My girlfriend had pushed me to try a retinol product in the past, but I've always avoided them due to worries about my skin getting irritated or drying out, as my skin is on the sensitive side. As I've had positive results with a several other Brickell products that I've used for years, I felt their retinol cream, advertised as low concentration, would be a safe bet to give a try and see how my skin responded. Application / Results This is easy to apply -- just scoop a small amount out of the jar with your finger and apply evenly to your dry face. It goes on smoothy and doesn't leave any odd residue. I have done the "twice a week" recommendation to start, applying in the evening and following with a face moisturizer, as well as wearing a moisturizing sunscreen during the day to help protect my skin and reduce the risk of irritation. I know that some products take some time to give you full results, but after a few weeks my girlfriend says that she is already seeing a noticeable improvement in texture and "brightness" of my skin, so I expect even better results will come with continued use. And besides some very minimal dryness at first, which I've easily resolved with continued moisturizer, I really am not seeing any negative side effects. I personally am not sure if I'll use more than twice a week, which means that the jar will last for several months, making this a very reasonable investment in my skincare routine. Based on the quality ingredients, which are both gentle and effective, and the solid reputation that Brickell brings to the table, would recommend for anyone looking to try a retinol cream who may have been hesitant previously. Their Daily Face Wash, Clarifying Gel Face Wash, face scrub, and Day + Night Moisturizer duo completely transformed my skin, so I trust the brand 100%. When I saw the released the Retinol Moisturizer Cream, I decided to give it a try. I’ve only been using it at night for about 10 days (after cleansing and applying their Revitalizing Anti-Aging Cream on alternate nights), and I’m already blown away. My skin looks smoother and more even-toned, fine lines around my eyes and forehead are visibly softer, and there’s a healthy glow I didn’t have before. The texture feels refined—like the surface of my skin is actually polished. No irritation, no dryness, just steady improvement. The cream itself is rich but absorbs quickly, has that clean, masculine Brickell scent I love (very light eucalyptus and lemongrass), and a little goes a long way. If you’re new to the brand, start here or with their core routine—this retinol cream just took my results to another level. Easily one of the best men’s skincare products I’ve ever used, and at this point I’ve tried almost everything they make. Highly recommend. 5 stars without hesitation.

I've been using the Brickell Retinol EYE Cream for a couple months now and I've been shocked by how well it has performed. I'm used to reading incredible claims about anti-aging/wrinkle creams and then trying them out only to find no discernible difference in the appearance of my skin. The Retinol Eye cream, however, was very different. After using it for a month or so, I began to see a noticable difference in the skin around my eyes. The lines were smoothing to a significant degree and the skin color really did start to look healthier and more vibrant. I'd never used a retinol product and I can only assume that is what made the difference. The improvements have only increased the longer I've used it and I will now ONLY use the Retinol Eye Cream around my eyes going forward. SO...when I saw that Brickell had developed a full-FACE retinol moisturizer, I was excited. I immediately purchased a jar and have now been using it for nearly two weeks. I'm just beginning to see results and from my experience with the eye cream, I expect to see those results increase in coming weeks and months. The moisturizer is light weight, very comfortable, rubs into the skin quickly and easily and a little goes a long way. Honestly, I couldn't be happier with it--though, I wish it came in larger quantities. Now, I still REALLY love my Brickell Daily Moisturizer and Instant Relief Aftershave and still typically use those in the morning after I shave. I'm using the retinol moisturizer in a more targeted way in the areas where I feel I need it the most (around the temples and parts of my neck area). And, I am using it sometimes at night--depending on my routine that day. The results I'm seeing to this point aren't exactly dramatic...but it is making a difference and I expect those results to become more and more noticeable as time goes on. I know some people can have a hard time with retinol and it can be irritating to some people's skin. I'd describe my skin as pretty sensitive but I've had no problems whatsoever with the Brickell retinol products. Brickell has clearly formulated their products to be gentle and non-irritating. This is yet another GREAT product by Brickell. At this point, their products are about all I put on my face and I look forward to seeing what this one will do over time! It provides great hydration, is easy to use and it really does help with the fine lines and wrinkles. I can't recommend it enough!
