Cheaper than the brined quicker cooking than regular dry
Once I got these to cook EXACTLY like the instructions said they did come out really well and lasted for me. Lupini is a great way to give your salad more protein. SIMPLI is a lot cheaper than the pickled brined versions of the lupini which are usually smoother. Because (SIMPLI brand )has them presoaked and then dried they do cook way faster than receiving lupini dried beans that are not presoaked. From what I hear it takes an extreme amount of time. That being said there is a sort of texture situation like skin to the SIMPLI brand but I dont feel that it took away from the beans flavor.

Instructions seem faulty; beans do not cooked as advertised
I followed the instructions on the package (soak overnight and cook for one hour) and they were nowhere near cooked. They tasted half cooked. So I simmered for another hour, and they still tasted half cooked, and slightly bitter. I don't think these beans should be sold. They need to change their instructions, which do not seem to be accurate. It could be dangerous to eat beans which are not properly cooked.

GREAT! But cook them longer.
I got these to make a lower carb hummus. Soak them overnight, then cook them for 2HOURS. The package pictured says an hour but the directions on the manufacturer website says 2. It needs to be 2 to fully remove the skin and get a tender bean.

Small size
It was not what I expected. They were small in size even after soaking for 24 hours and boiling for 2 hours.

These beans are inedible.
Unfortunately, these lupini beans are terrible. There are pre-cooked (I wish I read the label before purchasing). I soaked them for several hours, and then cooked them in instant pot for about 15 minutes. They were still rough. The skin is very thick and the flesh is dry. Went straight to the garbage.

Take a Long Time to Cook
I soaked them overnight, then followed the cooking instructions, and 2 hours later they still weren’t done. So I put them in my pressure cooker for another 45 minutes and they were done. The next time I cooked them, I soaked them overnight, then just pressure cooked for an hour. Perfect.
