Review: Perfect for Soap - I use this for melt & pour soap. It holds a lot. I get 7 standard size soaps from this. I would not put this directly on a burner. It is certainly not wide enough at the bottom for my gas burner & I think the handle might not hold up. I just use one of my pots filled with an appropriate amount of water & put the melting pot in it - making a double boiler. Works perfectly & I love the handle for pouring the melted soap in the mold. I don't make soap to sell so I only make small amounts at a time. Glad I bought this melting pot. If you sell your soap, you might need a larger melting pot to make more at one time.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Work perfectly for me for melting beeswax

Great for melting smaller amounts of beeswax. Over the years, I have collected a few hundred pounds of beeswax. A couple of the blocks are larger than 75 pounds each. That becomes a challenge when trying to break it apart. This pot works perfectly for me to melt less than 5 pounds at a time. I put my beeswax in it and then place it in an old crock pot to melt the wax. It does discolor on the outside, but that is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect the beeswax at all. I purchased 2 of them because they work so well for me. I am very happy wiht this purchased. It is a good value for the money spent.
