I absolutely love this machine! I have used a shark vacuum for many years, and every time we do a construction project in our house, I kill one and I go back and buy another one immediately! A friend of mine came by with her new shark Hydro vac to show me how it worked on our laminate floors, I was amazed by the results. I don’t mind vacuuming my area rugs, but I absolutely hate to sweep and mop ….but…. I have a black lab and a large house cat and they leave a lot of fur and dander all over the house. I would not recommend using this Hydro vac to vacuum area rugs, but it works really well to vacuum and mop the laminate floors. After vacuuming, I did use it to freshen up my area rugs, and it worked very well. However, when I cleaned the bottom, dirty water container, there was a large amount of hair that had to be cleaned out, and it took several minutes. I would recommend vacuuming first. I hate to mop, but this is an absolute joy to work with. You simply fill up the water container with some cleaning liquid and warm water and off you go. Mine did not work the first time I used it, I could not get the water to go through and get the brush to roll. After watching a Google video on troubleshooting, I found one that was very explicit about taking a paper clip and poking it through the hole at the very bottom of the water container. This worked perfectly, once I poked that hole completely, the Hydro vac started working immediately and left my floors very clean, almost completely dry and smelling like a dream. I don’t think my house has ever been so clean since we moved in seven years ago. It came with a good charge, but I did charge it for the recommended four hours before use. We have a small house, only about 800 ft.² and it can very easily clean our entire house on one charge. I absolutely love it, and would highly recommend it. I have been looking at this for a couple years, I’m so glad I finally purchased it! It is very easy to maneuver under and around any furniture. It stops working as soon as the water container is empty, and you simply clean and dump out the bottom container and you’re off and running again very quickly. And it has great suction power so it leaves. The floor is almost completely dry and I don’t have to keep the dog and cat and Husband outside for 20 minutes.

I absolutely love my Shark vacuum and mop. It saves me so much time by vacuuming and mopping at the same time, leaving my floors clean and fresh. It’s easy to use, picks up dirt really well, and works great on everyday messes. Overall, it’s been a fantastic addition to my cleaning routine, and I highly recommend it

I bought a new Shark HydroVac expecting a smart mop/vac experience. What I got instead was an all-day marathon of frustration, humiliation, and absurdity. Defective from the box: Self-clean stops mid-cycle, mop brush doesn’t spin in Boost mode, and the water tank “alerts” empty even when full. Phone “troubleshooting”: 35 minutes of “turn it on, turn it off, turn it on again.” Spoiler: it didn’t help. Hostage-style verification: I had to write my name and today’s date on paper next to the serial number and send a photo — apparently to prove I exist before they could “fix” their mistake. Ps. after I send 4 videos and photos already proofing not working unit. Replacement chaos: After a long phone call, they confirmed they would replace the entire defective unit. The very next morning, I followed up — and suddenly, they sent me tracking for just a brushroll and cover, with instructions to “happy fixing” it myself. All my emails, photos, and videos from the previous day apparently didn’t exist. It’s a perfect example of SharkNinja’s system designed to loop you endlessly until you give up. Time wasted: I spent a full day documenting and explaining the defect — all for zero results. Lesson learned: if you value your time and sanity, don’t buy this product. SharkNinja’s process is a masterclass in how to make a customer give up. On the bright side: Big thanks to Amazon support for being sane, reading my previous messages, and processing my refund without making me explain the vacuum’s failures a hundred times. You saved me from seeing this nightmare in my dreams.

I am so pleased with this vac that I have to pass the word. ( Previously , I purchased a Bissel Pet Pro Crosswave. It only worked for about a dozen uses. It left quite a bit of water on the floor too. Cleaning it was gross but I was sure to do it properly each time.) I am the owner of 3 different SHARK vacs and they're all terrific for their type of machine. The MESSMASTER works just as I'd hoped. Good suction for cleaning solution, good brush action for soil too. My floor looks great. The cherry on top is the "auto clean" feature. WOW. A big time saver and the brush roll looks clean. I am leaving the brush open along with the solution container to air dry. SHARK is the better appliance.

Setting the scene-mom who works full time, 3 teenage boys,1 dog and 3 cats. Live in Wisconsin where mud season is about 40%of the year. Wanted something for light daily cleaning of hard floors. Received this today and have cleaned my whole 2 story ranch house. Currently March so beginning of mud season. I did not sweep prior to using just to see how it would do and it met expectations. Picked up lots of dirt, pet hair and other things. Also cleaned the basement gaming/teenage area and pet litter box area. It did amazing! Picked up kitty litter. Cleaning solution is not super strong scented which I like. Over all great so far. Machine is light weight. This would also be great for older folks in apartments. Only downfall would be emptying the dirty tank, but hoping it won’t be that bad after regular use. Update- have now used it 2-3x per week, still cleans good, downfall is that if you have pets and dirt, it gets behind the roller brush and is gross to clean out. Still liking it though as much better than having to sweep and mop many times a week.

Works great! Used for 4 months now. Cuts cleaning time in half. Floors are alot cleaner, very glad I invested in this! Its lightweight and easy to use. Cleaning the canister is pretty easy and for someone with asthma I appreciate the no dust flying in the air to dump the debris.

I'm a fan of Shark and i saw a similar brand on Tiktok and went straight to Amazon to see what they had because im iffy on trusting TikTok shop. I was estatic to see Shark had a wet vacuum. I purchased this excited to clean messes, as i have a English Bulldog, a 2 year old and a 7 month old. So messes were in big trouble, so i thought. The functionality and clean up is easily a 5 star review. There hasnt been a mess it hasnt been able to tackle so far and its incredible the amount of dirt and dog hair it collects and i have a squeegee broom that is fantastic and this wet mop still out performs it at an incredible rate rightfully so. However im giving this product a 3 star because im torn on the clean up of this. It has a self clean that is wonderful, but ive found it to be a big hassel that everytime i use this awesome machine i have to spend 15 minutes cleaning the entire wet mop after self clean. I have to dump the dirty water, then pull the insert filter catch thing out and completely clean and dry it, take off the roller and clean the vacuum part of the roller. Reason being even after using the self clean feature if you dont do these cleanings youll end up with a collection of gunk from your mess clean up. This process did take me a few tries to get as before i figured the self clean did its job, just dump the dirty water. Ended uo wirh magets from not cleaning the catch. Next time i was prepared and then i still found magets this time coming from the roller area i never thought to look at. This process and learning curve has made me want to use this product less because i find if i dont do this process the consequenses are disgusting. So this is a great product, and does a wonderful job. If you dont want something you have to clean after cleaning the unit then this may not be for you. I still enjoy mine and is great for those deep clean days, but for every day use grab and go, leave and forget, this isnt that.

Hello, I recently received a new Shark HydroVac MessMaster WD260, and I believe it is defective. The vacuum has normal suction, and the brush roller works correctly during the Self-Clean/Rinse cycle. However, during normal cleaning mode (Hard Floor) and Stain Boost mode, the brush roller does not spin at all. We have already tried all the recommended troubleshooting steps: * Reinstalled the brush roller. * Filled the clean water tank. * Made sure the machine is fully reclined during use. * Verified that the vacuum has normal suction. Since the roller works during the self-clean cycle, the roller itself and its motor appear to be functional. The problem only occurs during normal cleaning, which suggests the unit is defective. We are currently located in Colombia, so I would appreciate your guidance on the best solution. I would like to request a replacement or refund for this defective unit. Thank you for your assistance.

I haven’t used the Hydrovac lots of times but I am very impressed so far, cleans really well without leaving the floor wet, easy to use and the self clean function is brilliant, well worth the money ❤️

No es una aspiradora que trapea, ES UN TRAPEADOR QUE MEDIO ASPIRA. La tuve que devolver porque la compré pensando en aspirar el PELO QUE SUELTA MI PERRITA, y de paso trapear, pero lo único que hace es MOJAR EL PELO Y DEJARLO en el piso. Además, deja muy mojado el piso por donde pasa, por lo que pisas para seguir avanzando y cuando se seca quedan huellas. También se gasta muy rápido el tanque de agua y tienes que estar interrumpiendo para llenarlo. Tal vez para otros propósitos funcione, pero ya que definitivamente NO TIENE LA EFECTIVIDAD QUE PROMETE, no la recomiendo para gente con mascotas que sueltan pelo.

Es excelente en cuanto a su desempeño de limpieza, la pila dura exageradamente muy poco como para limpiar solo 4 recamaras de 4x4 y haciéndolo super rápido pq sino se agota la pila 🔋 el bote donde se pone el detergente solo alcanza a limpiar máximo de 2 a 3 habitaciones y hay q volver a rellenar de igual manera es el vaciado del agua sucia, la verdad esperaba más sobre el producto, te facilita la limpieza pero es un poco tediosa y por ende el lavado de los accesorios son inmediatos después de la limpieza pq sino se percuden.
