My filter was on so tight that I could not get it off with a regular socket wrench, I had to use a break over bar and the filter wrench never broke or slipped. The 14 flutes held on and the notches in the wrench made sure the wrench would not slip. Thicker metal than the cheaper regular 14 flute wrench on the store shelves.
