I bought it to have peace of mind because one of my pet sitter did fail my cats last time I was away and I got super worried! This machine allows me to dispense food anytime and also watch them eat. Can set a schedule too.Don't know about the dual tray, they still try to steal food from each other so I wish the trays were a bit more separate... but that's because my cats are gready.I like that the bowls are big and shallow, my cats really like space to eat. Also holds a lot of food in the tank.My cats usually eat wet food so this is to dispense when I'm away and feel that they deserve a treat or for emergencies.I do think it's a bit pricey, I would say would be a better purchase for 100£, almost 150£ it's a bit of strech since the design isn't that inventive, the quality of the camera isn't that clear and it's plastic.Overall I'm happy and keeping it unless something goes wrong, but you can get equally good products for less money.

Absolutely useless. Despite following all instructions to the letter this just doesn't distribute evenly, and hardly gives out any food at all. It's also so incredibly slow to give even a single tiny portion, of which you will need several just to provide a decent meal. Haven't even bothered to put it in front of my cats.

It’s great you can set as many feeds and amount of each feed the cats love it the recorded message is great and the camera allows is to monitor the two cats when we are out of the house … it’s monitors everything and messages you when you need to take action really good buy if you go on short breaks

Controlling food for the cats has become easier, it took them a couple of day to get use to it, but now they sit down Infront of it 5 minutes the food comes.Easy to install, app is very easy to use, camera works great. Happy cats = happy buyer

This is excellent! Easy to set up. I did not subscribe to monthly plan as not needed. You can watch each feed on video and see if you need to top up food at anytime. Highly recommended!!

Update: 1 month following on from my honest review. Petlibro contacted me with solutions to the problems I outlined below. I was not expecting their contact so I was surprised and pleased. As a result, I have upgraded my review to 4 stars due to their customer service.Origional Review: very easy to set up and I am no whizz when it comes to all these web based products.When setting up the feeding schedule for 2 cats I couldn't bypass the 'you must buy' cat care app subscription,this lasted for several days. The whole idea for purchase was just that - cat care! I was about to return product because of the barrier setting up the multi cat feeding schedule when the 'must buy' unnecessary monthly cloud app stopped pestering me - hello, cost of living crisis going on. It is important to buy the micro chip (Amazon basic is perfect) otherwise you are trapped into buying the cloud app for full functionality. Still figuring out the measurements esp because the unit does not deliver exact portions to each bowl, this an ongoing issue, it regularly over fills the bowls and not of equal quantity either. This is a bore because the food looses it's freshness too.Another point is that the product insists on you inputting your Internet password - that is worrying but I could not set up the unit without this. I can't source replacement filters. The renewal site redirects to the UK but then I can't actually access the UK site.The bowls are a good size and are slightly raised off the floor so good for more elderly cats. Cute feature is the 'feeding time' voice and both my cats are beginning to respond to this cue. The best feature is being able to watch my kitties feed while I am visiting family. So, other than the privacy, quanties and the replacement issues, I am inclined to keep product. However, I do not trust the product hence the 3 stars - it is an expensive bit of kit to have all these problems.
