Great Pack for the Price!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a great backpack hiking. It caries the load comfortably on your back and doesn't slide around. Once you put the pack on and adjust the straps to your liking the pack stays right there even with jumping and climbing. Now of course this pack isn't going to be better then some high dollar name brand packs for for the price and what this is for it does amazing. As you can see from my video I was able to fit a lot of good gear in this pack. I do recommend this pack for beginners and people wanting to do hiking and camping on a budget this will serve you great.Pros1.) Great price.2.) Holds up to abuse.3.) Plenty of places and ways to attach extra gear.4.)Great size water bottle pockets.Cons1.) Hip Pockets are tiny.2.) Not for people over 6' 2" the pack is to short.3.) Would like to have seen longer Tent/Blanket straps (watch video for explanation of what this is.)4.) Rain cover on all zippers not just one.

I loved it!
I loved it! My Yellowstone trip was amazing thanks to this little helper! Don’t get me wrong, it’s not really little :) I was able to put the change of clothes (including shoes), bottles of water, some food, tons of small things! No back pain, everything is secure and several compartments make organizing much easier! It can travel as a personal item on the airplane, no questions were raised here. And I had another carry-on bag with me. The purchase was a bargain for sure! Would definitely recommend it!

Great Bag!!!
this bag was more than I expected, in a good way.... I was looking for a nice, bright, durable hiking bag and I found it! couple things that have really found great about it, first is the shoulder padding. Its thick to the point were it supports the weight of the bag but not hard where it still doesn't cushion. It breathes too, so the shoulder sweat pretty much doesn't happen. the chest strap has a built in whistle, found that out of complete random. the stomach/hip straps have built in zipper pockets, nice for quick access to small things. the main pockets are huge and theres a divider inside. comes with a really nice rain cover.... the part that I love is it holds my fly rod!!! FINALLY a bag that will hold my fly rod and I don't have to jam it inside with all my other stuff. the draw strings line up perfectly to keep it tight and secured and theres a strap on the bottom that supports my real and keeps it from sliding down..... overall, great bag and the price was right where I was looking

Decent enough backpack for a daypack. Mixed feelings about possible bug out bag.
I read tons of reviews and was indecisive over this pack or a different one here on Amazon. I went ahead and took the chance on this one because I needed a larger day pack. It holds what I need it to and isn't overly large. The zippers are very smooth to open and close which is a huge bonus for me. The interior laptop compartment holds the little 11" Dell netbook with room to spare. I knocked off a star because the bottom straps to hold a sleeping bag should be slightly longer. I was able to just BARELY clip them over an inexpensive sleeping bag I got here on Amazon. It rolls up into a stuff sack that is kind of average sized for kids standard sleepover style sleeping bags. It clipped on, BUT the strap length was maxed out and it was a real struggle to buckle. I won't be carrying a sleeping bag every day, but if I wanted to use this bag as a bug out bag, I might look elsewhere. I need to test the strap size with a Polish army surplus poncho tent I ordered and will update the results. It does look like the video reviews other customers shared. It seems a little small inside over what I was expecting from watching other reviews of 40L backpacks on YouTube but I don't have anything else to compare it to. It is holding up beautifully to daily light use since I got it though. As a daypack for an adult,or a book bag for a kid I might get another one. As a serious bug out bag I think I'd look for something with slightly longer straps on the bottom to hold a sleeping roll without Hulking the straps closed with all your strength.

For the Cost, A++++ Day Pack
I have only bought Kelty packs my entire life because they are the best, hands down. However, our family sets a budget for the 'cousins' to get each other gifts, so I had to find a pack for our son and I researched the reviews extensively and chose this one. This pack is literally rivaling my old Kelty day pack in quality and construction. The material is lighter weight than a Kelty pack but I've tested it and this material is strong and very good quality. Rip-resistant. Zippers on a backpack are one of those things that differentiates a good pack from a bad one. You could argue there are burlier zippers for a pack that has to go through a lot of wear and tear and these zippers are great so far. Shoulder straps are very good. Adjustment straps are the way they should be. Comfortable fit. Son loves the compartments for laptops, tablets and books as he wanted this partly for daily college use. I read other reviewers say it wasn't a 40L pack. I didn't scientifically measure the volume but maybe they just don't know how to use the expandable straps to get the full size/volume out of it. Seems plenty big to me to use as a day pack. The only one thing I wish it had is a hole at the top for a hydration bladder hose, because there is a compartment inside that seems like it would fit a hydro perfectly but no hole to run the hose through (although this is not advertised as a hydro-pack, so I can't blame for that). But if you wanted to put a bladder in it, you could simply run the hose out the top of the double zipper if zipped both to the center-top and ran it over the shoulder. That's how I converted my old Kelty into a hydro pack. Maybe not ideal but works fine. Rain cover fits nicely into one of many small compartments at the top for easy-access if a storm pops up. Great little lightweight pack.

Its a big bag that does it's job well!
I thought it was going to be all over waterproof - it's not. shower proof perhaps - you need to use the supplied "bag-dom" to make it more resistant to the British weather. This is why I have only given 4 stars. I use it for cycling to work - carrying all my work gear so bought a separate high-viz bag dom, I can comfortably fit my work shoes (size 10), trousers, shirt and lunch in it with me micro fibre towel. It also has a handy space for a drinking straw that I use for my headphones. Loads of pockets and straps around the chest and waist so it won't piss you off and slip round. Very adjustable and I have managed to get it to fit even my fat frame very comfortably.Used it almost daily for a few months now and it hasn't fallen to bits yet - so can't really complain!08/08/19. Year and half on- it’s not at all waterproof anymore. After about 12 months the lining started to come away inside very gradually. This means all my kit is now covered in tiny diamonds of dark fabric. There’s nowt can be done about that though. All zips still working. No holes. Straps still intact and, aside from the inner lining, it still does it’s job. Money well spent.

Bit heavier than expected but decent quality
Plenty storage options, pole hooks, roll mat straps, molle fotments, got the works. My only complaint is that I ordered a blue rucksack but got an orange rain cover. No matter, they’ll see me coming when I fall off a cliff when hillwalking! Tad on heavy side but it was stated with the weight so no concerns. Zips look decent but if anything I’d say the material was thinner than my trusty old karrimor. Different materials though so time will tell.

IT is quite good backpack but there are some negative features.
Iternal pocket for laptop is artificialy small so it is hard to put in bigger laptop. Ther are a lot of pocktes and departments. The material seams good. also the main arm holders are well padded. The problem is that there are double holding belts. Especially the lower one is bigg and completly unnecessary. It is bulky and obstructive and not needed for such a small backpack. Also top handle is flimsy and ot done properly like it should.

Acquisto eccellente!!!

Does what it says it does.
I bought this to use on my motorbike . It's large enough for everyday use and comfortable with the chest and waist belts holding it close to my back. Not tried it in the rain yet but does come with a rain cover for heavy rain. Lots of extra storage and straps if you want to carry more kit.
