Great product
Essential a headlight for a bike. Decent usage per charge and recharges in a reasonable amount of time. Game changer for nighttime biking. Also, a good strobe for daytime. Solidly made, I have one that's 10 years old and used it A LOT. Good clamp too.

Works great MTB helmet-mount. Fast charging
I use this for Minnesota back-country off-road cycling, so I don't know why Amazon wants me to rate it for "commuting". This light is sufficient on it's lowest-level brightness for my forest adventures. I use it for 3 hours at a time, and there is plenty of charge left when I'm done. I mount it on the top of a spare helmet, and it's excellent. Works great at -25°F, or 95°F, rain, snow, etc. I really like that it can unclip from it's mount easily, so I can take it inside, or use it hand-held. A great feature is that the mount will "give" if you hit something, so it doesn't break. Just notch it back straight, and you're good-to-go! I'm always impressed how fast this light charges. Thinking I need to let it charge over-night, but it's done before I go to bed.

works great, customer service isn't that good
i have used a few NiteRider lights, and i like them. however, a couple of things about NiteRider. over the years, their customer support has gone to hell. you had to fight them to honor their warranty. now, they have made the warranty worse. they aren't standing behind their products as they once did. but, until i find something better, i'm still using them, because the lights themselves are great.

New Lumina 900 DOA... but my 5 year old Lumina 600 still works fine. - I screwed up
DOA.... mine had the dreaded flashing red LED, battery will not charge, light does not turn on.... at all. It is either a dead battery or a bad circuit board. My bet is the board. I have a 5 year old Lumina 600 that still works perfectly, but NiteRider seems to have forgotten about quality control. I need another light but now may be forced to choose another brand.Edit: OK, I screwed up on this one. I replaced this unit with another NiteRider, a Lumina 1000 boost, and I saw my mistake.I had an older Lumina so when I took the 900 out of the package and it didn't work I believed it was defective, when in fact it needed to be unlocked. I also found some information on the web that indicated this behavior was due to a loose battery connector so I didn't go back to the instructions. and immediately RMA'ed it. Bottom line I didn't read the funny instructions that said it needed to be unlocked.... that I did see on the new Lumina 1000. This is the first time I have returned something that wasn't defective and I feel stupid. One star off because the 900 came with a rubber band clamp and not the nice screw on clamp that my older unit had... and the new Lumina 1000 Boost also has. Otherwise the 900 I sent back was a solid and probably very bright light like every other Niterider product I have owned.

Recharge and high visibility
The headlamp changes in an about an hour and works for a couple of commutes ~2 hours. I use it sometime for camping too. Great high powered light, and it creates a lot of visibility for me on my commute home in the dark.

Unrepentant dishonesty by Amazon
I ordered a replacement for my bike light which was stolen. I received a Lumina 1000 Boost in an opened 900 Boost package. I returned in exchange citing wrong item, and got a different 1000 Boost also in an opened 900 Boost package. Had I been asked about substitution I would've been fine with a 1000 in unopened package, but I paid for a new item & have no way of knowing if the 1000 I received had been returned previously. Both packages were opened & contained a 1000 Boost, meaning someone made the decision to send a different potentially defective product and hope I wouldn't notice. Returned for a refund, I'm not willing to put up with repeated, flagrant & unrepentant dishonesty like that.On the flipside, I called Niterider customer service who was able to get me set up w/a refurbished 900 Boost & a replacement part for a taillight mount. The 900 Lumina Boost is a terrific light, great visibility for me to see road conditions & for drivers to see me. The battery charge lasts a long time, my previous light saw me thru commutes at all hours, downpours, & potholes deep enough to shift my gears and half-open my kickstand. Never had a problem, never came loose, reliable bright light every time. The 900 is currently out of stock on their website but the Niterider rep I was speaking with expected it to be back in stock in a couple weeks.Tldr: incredible product if you can get past the dishonest & reprehensible fulfillment to actually get what you ordered. Buy direct from Niterider instead, give your money to a company who has standards & genuinely cares about your experience

Great for nite riding.
I have a no-name brand mounted to my handlebars but wanted a name-brand light to back it up & this light does it beautifully. Easy operation, and simple to find the button even with gloves on. Battery life is pretty good, and built quality is excellent. I wish the form-factor was more sleek like a lot of the off-brand, and big dollar makers out there, but being that it’s on top of my helmet I don’t mind it too much. Shame it isn’t USB-C, rather it’s micro-USB. Oh well, I have plenty of those cables kicking around still! Good light. Buy one!

Good headlight, battery life average
The good:- Received the 1100 boost in the 900 boost packaging. I'm not sure if this is a labeling issue on the packaging or on the light.- Comes with a mount that works with your bars. You can make it work for a helmet but you are better off purchasing the helmet mount- Plenty of modes with variable light output- Charges quickly- Relatively light weight- Boost mode is great for a race scenario or short rideThe bad:- Battery life on boost mode is 35-45 minutes at best. Running on the lower mode is the only way to get a full ride in. Lower modes still offer enough light for most ridingLight Comparison:- 1100 Boost vs Acrunu 4 Led VS Acrunu 5 led.- The only other light I have is a 350 lumen Serfas that is quite outdated- Subjective feedback: The 1100 boost has an excellent spot. Very bright and very far throw. There is some flood around the spot but it is not significant. I highly recommend this light for a helmet, but as a bar light it might be too much of a spot.- LED color: Very white

Very versatile light
Battery life has been as good or better than advertised. I still use lower settings when possible and level 3(not boost) for descending. I also use a 900 on my helmet and it’s not too heavy but you do notice the weight. Definitely recommend this light.

Gran luminosidad y calidad

Bright lights.
I see quite a few reviews from people stating these did not work out of the box. You have to press and hold the power button for 7 seconds to take them out of transport mode. These have been great lights. very bright for the price point. have had no issues with them yet. The handle bar mount is not the easiest to use. was shifting on me from time to time, so I bought the K-Edge go-pro adapter mount to direct mount them to my PNW range stem. Really like that mount setup. So far these lights have been trouble free.
