I tried everything to get this to work, went on Youtube for inspectional video and could not get this to transfer my videos. I then purchased the Startech USB video capture Cable #SVID2USB232 and it worked great, so easy.

This does not work. And the instructions are so tiny you can barely read them. I tried everything to get this to work, went on Youtube for inspectional video and could not get this to transfer my videos. I then purchased the Startech USB video capture Cable #SVID2USB232 and it worked great, so easy.

I was not expecting much with this, considering the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. This worked quite well with free software. The purpose for purchasing this was to convert a bunch of old VHS tapes to a digital format. The hardware functioned perfectly, it was more of a learning experience figuring out the correct settings in the software I used (OBS Studio). I would recommend this to anyone trying to convert old physical formats to a portable digital one.
