Works well
While I won't say the 'flavor' transfers just because you can smell the scent of the pod, I will say it is very pleasant and does encourage better hydration without thinking about calories, sugars, etc. I do like it a lot.

Not as expected
The actual water bottle itself is fine. My younger brother expected the flavored drink to actually be flavored though haha. I wasn’t too sure that’s what it would be based on what I was reading but he was pretty persistent. The flavoring is less of an actual flavoring and it’s more of an essence in the topper that goes on the straw. That was not a very exciting experience for him lol. The concept is cool and, again, the bottle has lasted well, but don’t expect any crazy flavors from the straw.

Good With or Without Pod
I ordered the Black Matte Water Bottle. It holds 20oz. Mine came w/a Peach flavor pod which had a pleasant natural Peach scent. This could be used as a regular water bottle as well but it’s intended to use w/the Pods that can be purchased separately in a variety of flavors. It doesn’t flavor the water but it does give a hint of the flavor bc you’re basically inhaling the scent while drinking. The bottle is pretty good quality; it has a thick silicone straw spout that’s removable for cleaning and a flip cap that can be locked. It’s a close Dupe to the AirUp bottle that costs significantly more.Overall for the price I think it’s a good deal as it can be used with/without the Pods and is a decent Water Bottle on its own.

Disappointing Hydration Experience
I was hoping for a decent water bottle, but this one fell short. The Black Matt finish looks nice, but the functionality is lacking. The biggest issue for me is that it doesn't aerate the water like the more popular brands. It's just a regular water bottle with a horrible scented pod. The straw and strap are nice additions, but they don't make up for the poor performance. If you're looking for a water bottle that enhances the taste of your water, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Magic!
This flavor pod water bottle is so fun to use. My kids don't like drinking plain water, but they have been drinking water out of this bottle with the flavor pod. It's a very cool gadget and I look forward to buying other flavors to try out in the future. The bottle is comfortable to hold, has a good draw on the mouthpiece, and is very easy to clean.

Never too many water bottles!
A great lightweight water bottle to have on hand! I don't do the flavor pods - works just fine without. I appreciate that it has a strap on it. It's leakproof and super easy to open/close for that quick drink. Great to take hiking or for workouts.

Makes me burp a lot
Likes:1. The concept of tricking your body with scent. It really does smell of pineapples and "tastes" like it too.2. Easy to carry around and holds a lot of water.Dislikes:1. The "flavor" (scent) intensity is not adjustable.2. The way it works: once you push the pod upward, a small hole allows air to pass through the pod when you are sipping the water. The water and the air are then ingested. The problem: too much air is being ingested with water, causing immediate burping with every sip. If you push the air out of your mouth prior to swallowing, you push the flavor out and taste the water, defeating the purpose.

It's a 3/5 and a 5/5, depending on how you look at it.
First off, let's look at the 5/5 theory- it's identical to Air Up. Like dead on. So in that, it's exactly what you would hope for, and everything that brand does, this does too. It's a perfect alternative. The plastic is solid, the straw is flexible, the mouth piece is solid and the lid closes tightly. Now let's explain the 3/5. See, there's issues with the main brand it is close to. And this, being a great mimic, it suffers that too- and I don't mean taste because that's a personally subjective thing to each human. No, I mean useage issues. Let's start one at a time.- the lid. The lid is decent but the hinge is that kind of hard but historically untrusted plastic we all know to break easily over time. It doesn't leak, true- but once the lid breaks off at that hinge, it will forever leak everywhere unhindered.- the flavor ring. Line it up. Push it down. **Pull it up to the mouthpiece!** If you don't, no it doesn't work. This is a frequent question on the main brand as well, and they don't clarify- neither does this one. That's the "on" switch, if you will.- air flows thru, bringing the scent to you, but this kills the suction to pull water effectively up the straw- so you are huffing fruit air with occasional water. The original does this, it's a build issue, but as a direct copy, this nails that same issue...So you see where reviewing is split on this, and why I went middle ground in the end. For me, it's a 3/5 for use, but for being exactly what the other is, it's dead on a 5/5. How you use this input is up to you, but I hope this helps.(Yes the pineapple is really really intense, just pull the ring up or you won't ever know it's really there.)
