Beautiful addition. The push button on/off is great and easy.

Great looking control panel (keep in mind that a valve is sold separately). Feels and looks quality. My plumber struggled with the valve, as it was very different from anything else he’s done, so make sure that your guy knows about Grohe products.

GROHTHERM® SMARTCONTROL DUAL FUNCTION THERMOSTATIC VALVE TRIM DOES NOT RETAIN ITS HEAT SETTINGS. IT REQUIRES RESETTING ON AVERAGE Evey 9 months. I have tested the Universal Rough-In BoxControl Unit; Smart Control valves for A (hot) and B (cold); and Sealing membrane. Smart valve for "A" is providing sufficient hot water. I have also set the GROHE SafeStop safety button (of GROHTHERM® SMARTCONTROL) at 100°F/38°C. But it does not retain this control all the time. I have to reset it almost every Evey 9 months.

This is an incredible shower trim that we enjoy using more each day. The biggest plus is not having to try and dial the right temperature each time. You just set the temp dial once and you're good to go. Push one of the buttons and within 5 seconds, your water is at your desired temperature. The temperature gauge itself is very easy to use and has an anti-scald feature so you don't go past the hottest pre-set temp unless you unlock the dial (which is simple to use). We bounced back and forth with this shower control and the Hansgrohe with similar functions, but this won out because it includes the volume control the Hansgrohe did not. So with this shower trim, you can also control the flow of the water from each source. As for the installation, I can't speak too much to it since it was installed by our plumber. I can say that he had no issues and did not complain about it at all, so I assume all was fine on that front.

Well constructed. Love the fact that temperature can be set and all you have to do is push the button. You can also customize your buttons for hand and shower head.

Great product . I would suggest having a plumber do this unless you have extensive plumbing knowledge.

This was difficult to install because you need to cut the surrounding tile to be very tight against the housing, in order to make sure that the trim plate covers properly. Also, the water flow seems pretty slow. I'm not 100% certain that has to do with the valve or with the Grohe shower head that I am using, but something is restricting the flow. It looks really nice and the buttons are easy to operate so far. But I would look for something different next time because of the installation challenges.

Great product even though a little expensive.

This product works really well has been in use for 8 months now. Really like the features little different to install but lots of info out there for installing. Would recommend this product.

Set it up once and just push the on off button over and over. Nice stuff.

Apart from the big round cover plate, everything is plastic. The cover for the big temperature dial keeps coming off and our plumber warned us that he fitted many of the same model (but in silver) and 3 of them developed a leak within half a year So far so good but for RRP £800 I'd expect better quality.
