I’ve been using this for a little while now and it has held the elastic string very well. It sets pretty quickly. The smell isn’t too bad, in my opinion. Once it dries, which is very quick, there’s no noticeable odor. The bottle is rather small, but you don’t need a lot to do the job. You literally need a tiny drop, enough to coat the knot. I’ve done numerous bracelets and still have plenty left!

Perfect for friendship bracelets! During the holiday season I decided to make Taylor Swift bracelets to leave & hand out at music store locations. I was so worried about gifting something that immediately fell apart & left a bead mess everywhere. LOL. But this glue worked great! The bottles are very small, but you only need a tiny amount of the glue on bracelets like these. It sticks & dries almost instantly, so make sure not to touch it! I gave mine at least 10 additional minutes to dry, & then did a very strong kid-stretching-the-bracelet-too-far pull, & the knots held! I am super sensitive to smells, but did not notice much of one with this. Obviously you don't want to just sit around smelling it, it's still a chemical. But the smell vanishes very quickly after the applicator is put away. It is a brush applicator, & almost too big for these tiny stretchy string knots; some of my beads would get stuck to the glue. But I consider that extra reinforcement, worth it!

bought this for my daughter to make bracelets. it works very well for that. I also started using it to secure embroidery thread after I sew projects. Has worked great for that as well. It has a brush tip which is great for application of the glue!

It is as advertised. String has the needed amout of stretch and glue sets up very quickly and holds with good strength.
