Best fish sauce in the world !
This is the very best fish sauce our family has had the pleasure to enjoy and the only one we buy on a recurring basis. Absolutely delicious, organic, and very high quality. I read about Son Fish Sauce from a Vietnamese American food blogger who said it was the best - I agree ! Very interesting history of the family business if you read about it on Son Fish Sauce website. Son Fish Sauce has also provided outstanding service on my orders in the past which I appreciate.

One of the best Vietnamese fish sauce in California I have tasted, but expensive.
This Son fish sauce has got good scent and tasted. It's similar to the original Phu Quoc's fish sauces I have tasted before in Vietnam. The manufacturer advertised that this one is manufactured in Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam. I have learned that its founders are Vietnamese Americans who come from Phu Quoc island and learned the traditional making method from their family. I think they made successfully the Phu Quoc's fish sauce with the traditional taste and original flavor of the Phu Quoc fish sauce. In addition, I would like to inform further about Phu Quoc fish sauce manufacturers here. Although there are about 80 big fish sauce makers, in my knowledge, the Phu Quoc fish sauce association is only included 12 fish sauce makers who manufactured, distilled, and bottled in Phu Quoc island under the traditional methods. Some of them are Thanh Thien Loc JSC, Thanh Quoc Private Enterprise, Kim Hoa Private Enterprise, Phuc Hung, Khai Hoan and Quoc Vi Companies. Those manufacturers' fish sauce bottles have the logo with the geographical indication (GI) status recognized and protected by the E.U., and they even got stamped with the E.U. Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status. Because the U.S. don't protect the GI status of Phu Quoc island's fish sauce makers, many manufacturers can advertise that their fish sauces are Phu Quoc's fish sauces. They can be Vietnamese American companies, Thai manufacturers and Hong Kong's fish sauce makers. However, please note that the unique taste and flavor of origin Phu Quoc island's fish sauce must be come from Phu Quoc island's anchovy, salt, water, secret know-how and traditional distilled method. It means that those makers can produce many kinds of fish sauces but their products cannot have the real taste and original flavor of Phu Quoc island's fish sauces. Even in Vietnam, there are two popular places where the fish sauces are made. They are Phan Thiet province and Phu Quoc island, Kien Giang Province. The taste and flavor of the fish sauces in two those places are quite different.

Awesome
I couldn't figure out why all my Thai dishes tasted off compared to what restaurants make. It turns out, the terrible fish sauce I was using was the cause. This sauce is excellent and makes for great dishes.

My sister enjoys the flavor.
I gave it to my sister as a gift and asked how she likes it, and her response was: "Great flavors, and surprisingly enjoyable for an amazon purchase of Fish Sauce." She said its' worth a try but can't guarantee everyone will like it since we all differ in our preferences. There you have it.
