Even my Dog likes it !
Actually, and it came as a shock to me for the price, they actually work exactly as described, no silly timer to set, they are auto depending on light conditions, also the slider on top to alter the brightness from quite bright, to almost off works great, I bought a 2 pack for @ £6 something (discounted at the time), also they only use 1 watt each, what is there to complain about ? Even the Frenchie loves to sleep by one now, maybe he's afraid of the dark and we never knew.

Very bright and come on automatically at dusk
These come highly recommended. They are bright enough to light an area or you can dim them to use as a nightlight. You just plug in and leave. They will come on at dusk and go off at dawn. You can adjust the brightness. They are very discreet yet powerful.

Just discrete but so bright
Just brilliant lights to give a bright light when it’s needed. I’m really impressed by how small they are but so bright. Really impressive

Great little lights, can walk round the house at night with no need to turn any lights on. Light up dark spots in the home during the day too!!

The brightness
I bought these for my elderly mum, as she likes a light on all night. They are great you can control the brightness which is really good.

What do you expect at this price?
I am buying them again because the ones I bought last year stopped working. They do turn on when it gets dark. But the dimmer doesn’t work. They don’t last but what to expect at this price.

A little too sensitive
Bought two of these as replacements for similar items that had stopped working. The panels in the sides of the block spread the light well, and it's relatively easy to control the brightness. Only slight issue is that it's very, very sensitive about switching on when the ambient light is anything other than full daylight. So, for example, in a hallway that is a little shady, the sensor will have the light activated all day long, even though there's enough light generally. It would be good if this sensitivity was adjustable. If the power consumption wasn't so low, you'd probably switch the device off until it got dark, which would defeat the purpose of having a light sensor.
